that's pretty silly, a lvl 55-60 area that sells the plans of a lvl 46 green dagger... by the time u got the recipe and gathered the mat to make this u would've found something 10 lvl higher, if u wanna make this for ur alt then u might as well buy another lvl 46 green dagger on AH for 2g...

I bought one of these in the AH one day for 10g, thinking the DPS looked great. Used it in off hand (rogue) and realized it wasn't as good as my Vorpal Blade of Agility. It's faster and the DPS says it's higher, but I have a damage tracker and it was very obvious that it wasn't that great. If you have someone who can make it for you for free, it's not a BAD dagger, but if you are going to spend a few gold, the Vorpal blades, at least on Feathermoon, seem to be a common and much better option for less money.

The NPCs in the town are ghosts so you can't see them normally. But if u do a 3-step quest in Scholomans (name - Doctor Theolen Krastinov, the Butcher), u get trinket called Spectral Essence(http://wow.allakhazam.com/item.html?witem=13544). Once u wear it, u can see the NPCs in that town. There are lot of guys out there.. Gurards, kids playing, vendors, quest givers etc.

The lady standing outside the Scholamance building entrance gives the quest.

i agree that this is not a huge step-up over the vorpal dagger of agility. but it will do more damage over time because it is a faster knife. it will do less damage per hit because the slower knife (in this case vorpal) has a higher attack power. you may be right in saying this isn't worth the effort in any case (unless a guildie can make it for you for mat. cost or -- better yet -- free).
