You will have to get Thorium Brotherhood rep to craft this item. It has higher resists then Tier 2 for its slot, but it doesnt have the awesome stat bonuses.

there is a new quest at the flightpoint in searing gorge to get u from "friendly" -> "honored". u only have to turn in about 900 darkiron residue at the smith there. prequest is "what the fluxus".

These are unbelievable. +5 from AD rep and you have a single item with 29 FR to go with the +stats. Compared to what else is available for shoulders, this might just be the most useful resistance item a caster can own....

the rest is completely useless and absolutely retarded.

arcanist robe (golemagg) > flarecore robe
netherwind pants (ragnaros) > flarecore leggings
wraps are absolutely pathetic, you can get the damn incendic bracers for 14 fire res (no other stats though), free of charge at incendius in brd. you won't have 8 int, but +8 int isn't worth:

6x Mooncloth (around 70g on my server)
8x Fiery Core (duh)
2x Essence of Fire (a-huh)
6x Enchanted Leather (around 12g)
4x Rune Thread (1g? :)

Fire Resist isn't completely necessary to cloth on Onyxia. Tanks need it. Ragnaros needs a decent amount of FR. What you TOTALLY NEED Fire Resist for is in Blackwing Lair. Fire Resist all the way. And don't forget the +7 FR to shoulders from Argent Dawn and Libram of Resilience. ALL NECESSARY!

Against raid bosses fire res by far. Those guys are gonna one hit cloth regardless of stamina.

you'll die in 1 or 2 hits regardless of how much HP you have. Go with fire res, you'll need it for rag

The median price is way outta line. With mats from ah - looking at 1650g in mats alone and ones on Malygos are typically priced 2000+g.

I'm gonna have to by far go with fire resist....my friend {Barabasas in Disposable Heroes; Aggramar} said Onyxia whiped the mages....also considering the kind of damage Onyxia does to even pallies / warriors
