This trinket seems pretty horrible compared to the raid trinkets. And actually, it's only marginally better than Soul Casket, a 359 trinket. Kinda sad.

Speaking from an affliction locks POV: It's a good upgrade from Rune of Zeth which most affliction locks were forced into using during Firelands.

Not forgetting, it's also really good for PVP. So i wouldn't be surprised if people invested in this trinket early on. the haste boost is really helpful.

As holy paladin I would call it the best trinket choice for AoE healing fights. I am totaly going for this one for fights like Morchok HC or Ultraxion.

This trinket is not nearly as good as an intellect trinket.

I can't speak for other classes, but for Mages; intellect is 2.5x better than our second stat, whether it be hit under-hit-cap, or haste/mastery.

Even a 300int trink will give you 750 damage bonus, where this trinket will only give you a 458 damage bonus.

The on use spellpower is great, but it is 15sec instead of a standard 20sec I've seen on most trinkets, and does NOT outweigh an intellect gain with an equip bonus.

With that being said, if you DON'T have an intellect trinket yet, this trinket is VERY sexy. :)

According to Rawr, upgrading Calice du Puits de lune to this for my i379 arc mage, and reforging to mastery, would be a gain of... 4.33 dps.

This is a pretty situational trinket. However, as a resto druid a lot of my new gear stacks Mastery (the tier set and the like) and mastery is not a very beneficial stat, at least compared to haste rating up to 2005 haste rating.

When I put on my fancy new ItemLevel 397's from 378's (in Firelands) I lost my 2005 breakpoint, and actually suffered a drop in healing output (due to a loss in roughly 10% effectiveness in Wild Growth and Efflorescence, my main raid heals besides Rejuvenation. This is because going from 2004-2005 haste rating, you get a free extra tick in WG and Efflorescense. If you do not know what this is I suggest you follow this link.)

Due to this trinket's sheer flat haste rating, I was able to bring my heals back up to par, and hit my breakpoint. Also, what is nice is that because it is flat haste rating, if you come into the place where you go highly over breakpoints and do not need haste, you can always forge it off for something else, like mastery for throughput or spirit for regen.

Overall, if you use this trinket for what it's intended to be (A crutch trinket, meant for a specific purpose) it's a damn fine one.

I am a fire mage, and I am not sure this is this best upgrade for me. I have Don souillé du seigneur démon and Carte de Sombrelune : Volcan and i'm not sure this is the best upgrade for me, but it is the easiest. Not sure if I should get it or keep my DMC for now until I get raiding and win a better one.

this trinket is terrible. It only has one use. Spine of deathwing if u need the spellpower burst+haste. its cooldown is rather short (1:30) so its decent for blasting down tendons.. for anything else theres tons of better trinkets to use like Ruse du sadique and Insigne de l'esprit corrompu for mages.

BIS trinket for all casters for Spine of Deathwing and Hagara, due to its 'on use' proc (because there are no any other trinkets like this) you can use it in every short burst phases of both encounters

Would have been much better for warlocks if it had a 2 min cd (and more spellpower or 20 sec duration to compensate). You can't macro this with demon soul (which has 2 min cd) without losing dps like most other 'on use' trinkets so be sure you have an extra slot in you bars if you're replacing moonwell chalice with this.

I think I'm going to take a ilvl hit and use will of unbinding and insignia of the corrupted mind.
The spellpower on this thing is immense, but as a fire mage, I just can't fire fast enough for it to matter.

Heroic Spine of Deathwing is percieved by many to be the hardest boss in DS.
You need to pick up this trinket if you're raiding in a guild that will be putting serious attempts into Spine.

This seems like a decent trinket for Shadow Priests, especially if macroed with archangel, as mentioned above.
