The book is directly behind Warlord Krellin in the Temple. After killing the warlord twice and everything in the temple, I literally fell over it dying :D Hope this helps

Thanks for that - I probably would've missed it if I hadn't seen that post. The book is just lying on the floor and is far from obvious.

41, 52 is correct, on the back ledge, behind Krellian and to the left (when looking straight at him).

Even after everyone's awesome detail?

It is only about 10 feet behind him, over his right shoulder.

If you were to stand on his dias facing him, then turn to 11 o'clock, then walk 1 step down into the pool water, then walk approx 3 steps out of the water and down the "mini stairs" and then walk 2 more paces, you would be pretty much be standing right in front of it. Continue walking another 10 paces and you will run smack into the building's wall.

Did this quest as a 56 Mage and found it soo easy. The hardest part was i couldnt find it at first and went all the way upstairs thinking they would make it a little difficult. lol, i was wrong. Go straight in the door, kill he warlord, keep going and its just sitting there on the ledge of the pool. Have fun everyone

That was a piece of piss indeed. Came in right after s'one else had killed the boss, so only had to walk on behind him to loot book. It was right behind him (for me), just outside the pool.

Waited for boss to resp, had no trouble doing him in whatsoever.

yeah I ran in, killed some fine femlizard ladies then ran upstairs and killed around in a circle getting aquainted with the local ladies then came back down and killed their pimp. After i celebrated my newly obtained lizardlady brothel... i noticed a book on the ledge ya 'eard?

It's very easy. The book is behind Warlord Krellian, near the stairs. the loc is correct (42,51)

thanks, i've been killing several of those already and indeed is has not dropped yet.... :)

The book is not dropped by someone it lies on a stone around the water in the temple...But kill the warlord too, he drops nice items... O.o
