make sure you don't get stung! once a scorpashi uses it's venom to bite you you won't be able to loot it off them! That's why the drop rate is so bad.

I found that if you get a weapon or defense skillup when fighting a scorpashi it will usually drop the venom! So fight them just after leveling!

Been doing this quest and I find that not getting the poison does infact increase the drop rate of the venom.

They use the venom when poisoning.

I noticed that (63, 35) by Kormek's Hut there's usually 1 spawned. If not two of the scorpids that drop this venom.

Killed about 25 in a row with no drop, then 2 in a row.

this doesn't work right. even while avoiding being poisoned the drop rate is far too low. anyone who gets is within any reasonable amount of time got lucky. This was a bad gaming experience, one of the worst quests in the game.
