Forget multiple passwords and emails to stay logged in across
the ZAM network
--it's now one login, one time for all your Wowhead and ZAM content needs.

By using this new and simplified way to login, you'll be able to easily access your ZAM accounts under a single sign-on identity. If you are a
, you will also have an easier time bringing your premium status to each site under our network.
If after reading this help article you still have further questions and/or issues with unified logins, please email .

Login with your username like before--or login through your email instead

There's even an achievement at Wowhead for merging:
Merging is an easy and pain free process for most users. There are three types of user under this new merging process, so listen up!
Wowhead only account
– If you do not have another account on the ZAM Network, the login process will remain exactly the same. However, when you sign up for Wowhead premimum, you may have a ZAM account made for you with the same username as your Wowhead account and the suffix -|WH. This means that premium users are actually ZAM users and will be affected by this change.
Multiple ZAM accounts
– If you have multiple ZAM accounts (such as
), you will want to merge them into one unified login.
Same email merges
– If you have any other ZAM accounts with the same email address you will need to merge them. The merge process begins the first time you log into any of the affected sites. The first account that you log in with will set the master password for that unified login. Thereafter, logging in to any other site with an account that uses the same email address will request that same master password so you can continue to merge your accounts.
Different email merges
– If you have multiple accounts with multiple different emails, you can also now merge them into one unified account by changing your email address to match. You will be asked for your master password to authorize merging your email addresses. Changing your email address or password on any ZAM site will make similar changes on all other sites you use your unified login with.
To see if your merge was successful, you can check your unified status on your
Do I have to merge? Why is Wowhead merging?
If you do not have another account on the ZAM Network, the login process will remain as it previously was and you will not have to merge. However, if you have had a ZAM account in the past or present, you will have to link them together. We are merging our accounts under ZAM so we can continue to offer new features, dedicated premium service, and a better user experience.
Help, it isn't working!
If you encounter any problem during the merger process, please contact . Before contacting, however, we would appreciate if you troubleshoot first by looking into these issues:
If you are having an invalid password error when prompted to enter a master password
, a tooltip should pop-up and let you know what password is your master password. It will usually be your ZAM account's. If you cannot remember the PW associated with that account, request it from the site in question.
If you do not know of any other websites you registered for on ZAM
but are still getting a merge prompt, double check that you haven't forgotten one. Remember ZAM accounts can be very old and inactive. This is the most common source of error, so always try requesting a password with your email from ZAM if you are having issues first just in case.Note: some premium users may have had a ZAM account created for them so if you get this message and have purchased premium in the past, you should definitely request a password reset from ZAM.
How can I check if I'm unified or not?
You can check your unified status on your
page. Successfully merged users will also earn a Wowhead site achievement.
How does it work? Do my username on ZAM and Wowhead have to be the same?
Merging your Wowhead account with a ZAM network account simply makes the accounts linked. If your username is different, it won't be changed; all that is needed is a common email address to link them together as well as a master password.
How can I stay safe while using Wowhead or ZAM? What about my password, is it at risk?
Your password is in safe hands. As they were before under multiple logins, passwords are completely encrypted in a secure database. As a safety precaution, however, we strongly advise you never use your Battle.net email as your email for any website account. We also suggest you change you use different passwords for other accounts outside of the ZAM network and change all of your passwords regularly--anyone on the internet will tell you this, but here's a friendly reminder from the Wowhead staff!
What is a "master password"? How do I change it if I have forgotten it?
The master password is the password to the account you first logged in with. In most cases, it will be your ZAM account's password. If you do not know your master password, reset your password to your first account.
What if I have multiple emails and multiple accounts?
If you have multiple accounts with different emails, you can merge them into one unified account by changing your email address to match. You will be asked for your master password to authorize merging your email addresses. Changing your email address or password on any ZAM site will make similar changes on all other sites you use your unified login with.
What if I have a premium account on one email and another account on a different one?
Follow the previous question to merge them so you can merge your premium into one account for the ZAM network.
