Seems mediocre at best, there are lots of shields I'd rather have in it's place, but it is fairly obvious it is more PvP oriented. However, I think as far as PvP goes, active shields are generally a much stronger choice for shields, as they more suit the needs for large benefits for shorts amount of time rather than medium benefits all the time. PvP generally consists of shorter encounters of endurance than the PvE game.

Also, pets are generally fairly low priority in PvP, It might be worth it if they gave it some stam and perhaps a little resistance to the actual caster. None of the class trinekts this round are particularly overpowering.

I suppose that's better than in BWL when some classes had amazing shields and others were damned near useless, most of these are just mediocre.

Any confirmed drop location on this shield?

I`m a little unsure wich shield to pick up... this or the Round Buckler. The stats are the same but the Round Buckler name does have a more legendary ring to it.

As of wich class this should go to i think warriors should get first dibs as they are usually the main tanks in raids at this stage.
and no shield on the warr = usually wipe. And believe me thats very dissapointing once you have gotten to this stage.. all the farming for buffs , especially the Elixir of minor agility and all the Minor healing and mana pots needed for theese encounters.

I picked this up at the AH the other day. Now im level 11 and still using it, it's pretty good. I've heard it should drop from level 7-10 mobs, but can anyone confirm this?
