You can get this recipe from the Goblin in Dire Maul North, you have to get the key to remove the chain from his leg. After you do that he runs off and leaves alittle box, open that and it will have several things in it, it will always have a recipe of some kind though.

You can just farm the first guy in the ogre instance for this cape:

u need 12 chromatic scales.. they sell for 100g each on dragonmaw.. I pity the fool that prefer this cloak instead of ~1500g mats. Do Dm north 15times instead and get the heliotrope cloak

If you want it for a Horde Character, make an alliance alt and send me a mail. We can setup a time to meet at gagetzan auction hall where I will buy the mats from your auction dirt cheap and then put the cloak on AH dirt cheap for you to buy back.

farming the scales is really hard since atleast 4-5people need them in a raid and sometimes it doesnt even drop.. I prefer faming in tyrs hand and buy the scales in ah (around 50g on Dragonmaw) This baby is gonna be mine soon, it looks so nice to..exactly what i need

This by far i would say is the hardest of the 3 leatherworking cloaks to make. 12 brilliant chromatic scales will take a while to get. They are once and a while found in the Ah so it wont be easy to get them or price. Plus you will havet to do a lot of UBRs runs to get them. Other than the chromatic scales, 5 hides are easy, 30 scales are easy, leather is simple, and red scales may be a little difficult, but after running to ubrs so many times you will have enough.

when im 60(52 mage) im going to go farm DM north till i get it, give it to a guildie and ask him to make one for me. then try and get +15 resist on this baby. Also I'm working on gettin my warrior(enchant/tailor, 60) friendly with thorium brothers to get the Flarecore Gloves. so i should have a little bit less then 50 fire resist in 2 items

well ui buyed this cloak from some1 for 375G and now i look better at the stats shall i sell it on AH or keep it im a BG freak idd and my guild is doing MC soon BWL my guildmaster says i must equip it but i find it a lot money some ppl say i dont equip it and sell it on AH other i must equip it plz help me or give advise im a lvl 60 mage roosvanacker on allience sde bloodfeather ive your intrested i will give it to you for a reasoneble price or give me some advice by posting equip or sell?

I got this from the box in Dire Maul North, and sold it the same day 550g buyout probably could have got more but maybe the guy wanted it bad.

damn recipe... I run DM north a lot and it doesn't drop... Oh and if ne1 else wants to get the recipe i suggest u get some1 to come along with the gordok shackle key... Did the instance about 7 times without ne1 having the shackle key...

I farmed for this pattern for about 3 weeks constantly! THEN, i found out that my guild bank had it for about that same amount of time! i got it and now can make. Speedemon on Dunemaul

When the mats are available, they are not cheap. Brilliant Chromatic Scale 30 to 100g each x12
Red Dragon Scale 3 to 10g each x30
Black Dragon Scale 1.5 to 2.5g each x30
Cured Rugged Hide 10g x5
Rugged Leather 5g for 2 stacks of 20

You have the mats, I will make it for 25g

What is the main instance that this is dropped at? I really need this for my hunter, lvl 59 on Hyjal, Night elf. This pattern must be a ton of Gold...i hope to get it cheaper them normal prices, if any of you have any helpful tips, tell me.

Got pattern from AH by 100G. Now 4th cloak under construction (3 was needed to get Lvl60 Mount). In Neptulon.

Need to hang on AH to get chromatic scale with reasonable price. Red Dragonskins
grinded with Guild mates from Wetlands and AH is having black enough.
