I picked this item up on my Rogue, but is most typically for Protection Warriors. However, a feral tanking Druid may also find this item useful, due to the high AC value and chance to dodge.

No No, hunters and rogues should stick with shifting cloack it has less AC but gives 1% dodge and 17 agi and 8 stamina much better because the agi will actually apply to crit%. This is definetyl designed for a tank.

I don't think a tank would give up redoubt for this, the +def is far more valuable in next patch as tanks still need to get as high as posible. 2% dodge is nice, but the def on a cloak is more tasty, even if its +5 def

A tank with 425 def now will go down to 390 or so, and i doubt they will be willing to drop it more ;)

Its probably better for a feral druid than a warrior. Warriors benefit more from +def, while druid tanks mainly have to rely on agi and dodge.

And yes ferals with good equip can tank in BWL (usually not the bosses, but even that has been done already ;) )

Just got this last night, great for PvP and tanking. During a repair break on Nefarian attempts, this cloak saved my ass on the way back when I got jumped by two rogues in BRM. Scrolling back in my combat log, I noticed I dodged 3 stuns. =D

No offense but i think this is perfect for druids. They rely more on dodge, the huge armor is gonna make a big difference and it comes close to cloack of warding which has only ~30AC more, this one doesn't give defense but 13 stamina.
Of course rogues could greatly benefit from this too.

Just saying all the stats are really nice for druid tanking, I'd go with agi cloack if I was a rogue.

It's really for melee class in general.

MT warriors get the most benefit from it, however, unless everyone/guild master decides it should be solely for the MT, then it should be up for grabs for rogues, shmans, pallies, warriors, and survival-spec hunters after 1.7

Warrior cloak.

A rogue want's crit/ag/sta so the cloak from Ranaros is much better, Cloak of Shurdded mists or something.
And if you'r guild can kill this guy you should have no problem with killing Ragnaros.

This cloak suits specific character builds, not specific classes. That would be fairly obvious, I should have thought, given the lack of class specific tagging or stat loading.

If your build would get a significant proportional damage reduction from a 2% buff to dodge (many casters with low dodge would get a vast damage reduction from this) then this is the cloak for you.

A hybrid caster, like a Shaman or a Druid, is likely to see good use out of this, especially if their gear is low on +agi.

Guilds should give this #$%^ to druids because they deserve crap items for pvp, it's not a rogue item, no. It's not a warrior item either. It's a &*!@ing nexus crystal that you can wear on your back.

you do know that 1def = 0,04 dodge right? the cloak is ubber for MT warriors. sure druids would love it but iam almost 100% sure that warriors will get it first. the DM cloak dosnt make up for it with its +def. 2% dodge > +7def

Its a tank cloak allright... Pve spec guild´s will let their tank warriors take this firs then druids... BTW the cloak looks like Frostwolf Legionnaire's Cloak/ Puissant Cape, just yellow. the look sucks ass

Hmm...interesting cloak.
Could be used for any melee class including hunters.
In my opinion, I would say more for a tanking warrior then anything. High armor, nice amount of stamina, and dodging a attack from a boss is nice.
Not much of a rogue cloak or a hunter cloak, no attack power bonuses or agility, but they could still take it for the nice dodge, and stamina never ever hurts any class.

since evade, life and armor are the way most tank-druids go this is realy a nice cloak :).

we don't have parry or block and there aren't enough +defens lether items to rise it above a good level (360 to 370 is about the top we can get but wirh eavy cost of stats).

Well, to lighten up yer, this is the best Druid tanking cloak aviable. Since druid don't benefit so much from +def(druids can't block or parry), 2% dodge is godly. and the extra armour transelates into alot of armor for a druid.

I personally believe this is the best tanking cloak in the game, many disagree, I'm not sure why. But I think 3 dodge on a cloak item (AQ enchant) is quite awesome. There are some cloaks that give 22 stam and quite a lot of armour, but still... 2 more dodge in my opinion is godlike (2% less white damage)

Can't tell whether I am going to claim this cloak, there are alternatives, but the 2% dodge seem rather decent for any BWL boss doing physical damage, the extra armor on this cloak is very nicely spent on a tank as well - can't honestly see why anyone else would want it

MT Warriors and Bearform Druids.

If Rogues and Hunters want dodge they should stick to shifting cloak so they get an AP/Crit bonus with the added agility, Shamans shouldn't touch it, and if warlocks want stamina, they should get Bloodmoon.

This dropped off Chromaggus for us the other night. Tanking cloak without a doubt. And no, it doesn't help hold aggro as it is purely defensive. The 2% dodge will be nice especially after the +Defense reduction on items in the next patch.

Just obtained this on my Feral Druid and I think it was created specifically for us. The extremely high armor compared to other cloaks makes me think it was designed for druids. Obviously there is no issue with a warrior taking it, but they benefit more from defense than we do so the dodge is ideal for a druid. Great cloak, but the color is dreadfully ugly.
