This quest line is started by looting Moss-twined Heart from Blackmoss the Fetid in Teldrassil. I assume it is consumed after you use the first time, but I'm saving mine for now. =)

The Cleansed Timberling Heart summons a lvl 7 Cleansed Timberling. and it's a one time use. It's not SUPER handy...but it is neat.

Yea, he's a single time use thing =/ and i think he is only summoned for a span of 20mins? i dont remember b/c was really sad when he was killed by a horde. he's a lvl 7 guardian and he actually atk'd the horde..lvl 50 i believe..he ended up killing the timberling and then appologized and left me alone..

Yea he is a cool little pet he does only work for 20min but it kicks ass if your a healer he sort of tanks for you for a bit lol

You get it from a lv 12 silver elite, then it is a lv 7 minion. While it helped me kill Oakenscrowl (lv 12 elite) that is only thing it helped me kill, since it ran off to fight something and got itself deleted.

In Teldrasil there is a large river with a waterfall north. There is an timberling somewhat larger than others, he is somewhat near the entire river region. Cant remember his name but he has a silver elite sign, stating him as a rare spawn, so he his respawn timer is either 1 hour or 1 day. Kill him will give you a tainted heart that gives you the possibility to start a optional quest. This quest will reward you with the summoning heart.

You don't actually get the "summoning heart" from the drop, you get a quest and have to bring the heart bak to Lake Al'Ameth in the lvl 6 - 7 area and plant it in Delanan's planter in order to actually get the summoning heart... just so you don't get disappointed when you get the drop. Have fun.

It's really a neat little thing, he was only one use, and actually tanked pretty well for me since I am a priest. Sadly, though, I got disconnected 4 minutes after summoning him, and when I finally logged back on, he was gone. :*(

This is the result of the The Moss-twined Heart quest, which is a drop from a named monster in north teldrassil. Your right click on the dropped heart to activate the quest, and the quest asks you to bring the heart to the guy who then turns it into the cleansed heart.

His name is Blackmoss the Fetid. Lvl 13, rare named spawn. Just got him =). He was near the northern waterfalls, but surely he will spawn anywhere around the lake/Wellspring river.

Considering what's involved in getting the little guy, this should be a green or blue item.

one time use. I didn't realize that until I used it! lol

the guardian is a lvl 7 Timberling (green).
he is a bit slow too, (or maybe it was me lagging),
so don't get to far away from him or he'll *poof*

also, he is like a pet on Aggressive mode, so careful when
you get close to an aggro mob 'cause it'll go right for it. lol

you can heal / buff him. I found this out when I went to loot
& accidently clicked on him. he does have a hp bar.

oh well, it wasn't hard to get & it helped me score 20
mins of easier grinding time. why not have a little fun with it, right? ^^

Summons a timberling guardian to assist you for 20 minutes. It is a one-time use. I used it on Oakenscowl for the end of the quest series with little impact as the guardian does very little damage; typically single digit attacks. Neat though.
