I got this once on my Druid, and like an idiot, wore it...Then when I was done with it, (around 33) I looked at the AH, and it was being sold for 150g..Boy did I miss out -_-

Finally got this off of Fenros. I had heard he may spawn every 6 hours but for sure at 6:00am. So I set the old alarm clock for 5:55 and sure enough he popped in at the middle camp. The one with two domed tents. If you aren't awesome at pulling or over level bring a friend he is surrounded by 5 other Worgen. If you must go alone, he may eventually start walking to the other two camps, the south one first. I'm not sure if he does this only after being attacked or if he would eventually path that way anyhow.

happend to be looking for herbs yesterday and while fighting of somw worgen that juumped me, he spawned right on top of me. With the help of a warlock, took him down and got this. VERRRYYYYY NICE

I just happened to be killing wogren for their skins, when he attacked me...got luckey, he dropped it on the first shot.

I was just killing the other guys around him and I saw him there. I didnt even know he was gonna drop the headgear, but guess what! He did! Im so awesome.

I was just farming some xp on those worgs,when I saw Fenros.Although I was only 27,when you're a rogue,you shouldn't have much trouble taking this guy down.Open up with cheapshot,and then SS him all the time until u have those fat 5 evis combo points.Since he relies on his magic,keep an eye open .When he starts to cast just use kick or gouge and u'll be fine.He only managed to hit me once with his spells.

sry to tell u this guys, but elite guys have gold around their picture. This guy who i have killed manytimes has silver around his picture. which means that he isnt elite, but just a named mob. he is a bit stronger but nothing special. the only other mob i know of with a silver picture type thing is in dwarf area at like near a lake. it is some kinda wolf. anyways that is why he is so easy to kill. i killed him with a lvl 29 druid a bunch of times with two adds! and i killed him with the help of another hunter with my lvl 28 hunter just last night. he wanders. doesn't dissapear. i auction his droped helm all the time. sometimes he wanders really far from both camps. i have found him once at the farthest north camp of worgen before! good luck gettin the drops u wan't guys! later!

I've killed him, two times, and got the bow two times. Luckily I use bows, but actually I want the Helm.

After reading the comments I started killing all of the Worgen over there, and slayed all the respawns twice, but Fenros didn't spawned.
Most of the people on the quest there didn't liked it :P
But each time when I log in in the morning he's there. My advice: Search for him late at night or early in the morning (just logout there and do it before breakfast ;))

After getting the bow, and waiting another 3 days of random waiting and pacing, i finally got fenros to drop this. Nice helmet, especially for my agility as a hunter. I would also like to add that Fenros is NOT AN ELITE. He is a normal NPC. The thing around his name just means he is different. He is a rare spawn and higher level then those in his area. This is not true for all NPC's with borders. BUT, those with gold borders are ELITE. Fenros is NOT.

Before heading to work this morning. I thought I might log in and see if I am lucky.

Using my main (lvl 60 hunter) flew to Darkshore from IF. As soon as I get there, bam! there he was, draw out my cat and killed him. AND he dropped it!.. Sent the Tribal Helm to my alt (level 28 druid).

that was like 4 minutes of flight and 2 minutes to find him.

I was lucky!

Found it yesterday when questing in duskood and as a 28 hunter i was scared i couldnt take him. But after my aimed shot critted for 350 i felt different :) looks nice

I just got this on my 27 rogue while doing a quest, easily solo'd. When Fenros casts a fire spell, kick him. You should kill him with ease, long fight, but ease.

I was just around and killed some of them when I saw him i thougt that it would be fun to kill a lvl 32 when I was lvl 27 so I killed him and got it

i have been cruisin around there on my mount for hours this guy wont spawn im starting to get aggrovated ... any suggestions ? is he usually at one of the camps or just wandering around or what ? somebody help me out

he is not an elite, but a rare mob. That is why a lvl 27 can kill him. If he was an elite, the lvl 27 would of gotten owned.

Either way, the drops are decent for the level :)

He spawns at the camps at Brightwood Grove and patrols the area. He dropped this 3 times to me,the helm,1 for my shaman 1 for my hunter and 1 for a shaman friend of mine. This helm owns, especially for shamen and hunters.

YES! got my first ever headpiece off this dude about half an hour ago...me and a friend were questing, but he had rez sickness...anyways, to make a long story short, I whispered a lvl 60 friend, she pwnt him and I got Tribal Worg Helm...for those of you who wanna know, he is in brightwood grove, he patrols a strip of land around a building, then stands in the building...lvl 32 regular mob *RARE*, anyways not hard to kill unless you're level 24 like I was

Well now I just killed him 2 minutes ago, he was standing falf in a tent.
so I steathed inside the tent and Ambushed him (no1 else got pulled :D, guesss its becouse i was inside a tent) killed him and got the Bow, I wanted both of them, so i didnt mind ^^

I've seen Fenros mainly at the camp with the tents, usually standing in the entrance to the right tent, although he does patrol. Was on my horde mage last night and decided to check if he was there, after ganking a cpl low lvls. He was and dropped the helm, which I sold on the AH for 14 gold. Who knows? Maybe I could have gotten more for it, seeing that It's probably pretty rare for the horde Auction house.

I've been trying to grind this off Fenros for ages now, with no luck because it takes so long for him to come around. Finally found it on the AH for 2G instead of 30, and snatched it up faster than you can say Feathermoon. Makes a pretty sweet looking headpiece in a world full of ugly hoods and dorky hats.

Randomly came across this elite while questing and got a really good (first) helm out of the deal at level 30. Great for aspiring hunters or druids
