I have found the manual twice since playing, once in WC off the murloc(end event) and the second just two days ago off a scorpid in Shimmering Flats. Sounds like it is a random drop...:(

spiders and scorpoins in PVE can afflict you with poison witch breaks stealth and somtimes these poisons last for quite a while after the fight is finished increasing down time dramaticly for rogues and somtimes druids.

The use is mainly for rogues and warriors. Both use go on mass killing sprees while leveling and they only stop to apply some bandages onto themselves. Thus, when you get afflicted by a 5 minute poison by some spider, you can just throw this on yourself to get rid of the poison and rebandage yourself.

The medicine men in Kurzens compound drop an anti posion thingies, i usually farm these rather than make my own

I've got stacks of the sacs on an alt, and I would like to make the venom, but I have no idea where the plans would drop. Any clues?

There are a few options for removing poison effects for classes/races that don't have a poison removal ability (i.e. Dwarf racial Forme de pierre or a Druid's Abolir le poison, Shaman's Guérison du poison or Paladin's Purification, etc):

Anti-venin (created by First Aid; learned from Trainer).
Sérum anti-venin supérieur (created by First Aid; learned from Manuel : Sérum anti-venin supérieur).
Remède tropical (dropped by certain NPCs in Stranglethorn Vale).
Coeur de Noxxion (dropped by Noxxion).
Potion de restauration (created by Alchemy; learned from Les réactifs des Terres ingrates II or Les réactifs des Terres ingrates II).

NOTE: Remède tropical and Potion de restauration start the Potion CD, whereas Anti-venin and Sérum anti-venin supérieur do not, so they are the superior choice for removal. Coeur de Noxxion requires you to give up a trinket slot, but if the poison was longer than the 30secs it takes to CD after you equip, you could keep it in your bags to remove poisons without needing to carry other items.

Presently in Classic this is bugged, and dispels poisons of all levels (instead of being capped to level 35). Additionally, it's not sharing a cooldown with Anti-venin, which is also bugged and dispels poisons of all levels. These bugs make anti-venom a very powerful consumable, especially in PvP.

This has been fixed as of April 2021.
