There's a reason they're called Wandering Forest Walkers. They travel the zone, they don't stay in one spot.

I killed two of these Elite Forest wanderers last night, but the vesel would not let me create Muisek from them, it just said invalid target . The dead body was registering as a non-elite fallen sycamore. I'm not sure if there is a trick to this or not.

I have no clue what mobs you guys are killing but the ones I kill arent elite...

yes you must get the wandering forest walkers, not the cursed sycamores

i found one just outside camp mojache, 70,41 and theres another by the hippogriffs

If you have tracking ability, track elementals when searching for the wandering treants. I found this sped up the process, as treants are hard to see in Ferelas.

70.41 is a good spot they take a long time to respawn but that is where I got mine at

Just check look at the map for where they travel, there is one in each big spot of yellow...if u can't access map for this quest try splintered log under Natural Materials

if you are a rogue use your wounded poison, they are constantly healing.

I just finished the Natural Materials quest (requires logs from the Treants) and then went to this quest and I have consistently found one Treant immediately East of the Lake in the "Writhing Deep" close to one of the trees with the light shining through.

Well this q is a bit hard not to kill just too find them they really dont have any spot.. but a cleaver one is to find one and kill and wait on his body to respawn XDDDDD

good job on the directions everybody made the quest easy to finish in like 10 min the hardest part was getting to the places, lol

theres 1 that wanders woodpaw hills another that wanders grimtotem camp next to spirite darters and 1 more by hippogryphs thats where i got mine
