It's midnight here, and I'm still awake, pretending I don't have to be up for gym (and work!) in a matter of hours. Thankfully, tonight my persistence in staying up late breeding Pokémon and browsing the Internet has paid off! I stumbled upon a post on one of my favorite sites of all-time,
Ars Technica
, who were recently invited to tour Blizzard's Irvine campus (again).

I don't know about you guys, but I
love
these sort of things because I'm just like every other geeky kid out there who wants to grow up and design video games for a living. Being able to see where the magic happens AND being able to go, "Holy crap, they have a SLIDE in their food court!" just blows my mind.
(Please note, I don't think Blizzard actually has a slide in their food court, but I remember reading ages ago that
Berkeley Systems
did!)
Now, I've seen quite a few pictures from Blizzard's headquarters (
Joystiq
took a
REALLY nice tour
last year), and those of you who have been to a Blizzcon or two may recognize some of the statues and memorabilia that gets brought out for display. This new look into Blizzard's headquarters includes some pretty awesome stuff that I've never seen before, like their expansive video game library. I don't know what I love more, the fact that they HAVE a video game library, or the fact that it's all perfectly categorized and searchable from a database. UNGH! Anyway, have a look-see here:
Hey Blizzard - any time you need someone to poke around in your stuff and take screensho--er, I mean pictures,
Miyari
's your girl! In other news, I should go to sleep. :)
