With the weekly maintenance ending this Tuesday on NA servers and Wednesday on EU servers, the Shadowlands Pre-Patch event,
Death's Rising
, will be underway! Like every expansion before Shadowlands, this limited-time event is full of exclusive rewards. In this post, we highlight all rewards you can obtain from this event.

Death's Rising Questline
The Death's Rising event has a questline that spans over the two weeks of the event. Completing both questlines will earn you some rewards - Unlocking dailies in Icecrown, a portal from Stormwind/Orgrimmar to the Argent Tournament Grounds, and the Feat of Strength

One of the main attractions from the Death's Rising event is the catch-up gear. The Argent Conscript sets have an item level of 100, on par with Normal Ny'alotha, so it is pretty good to catch-up with on alts. Each piece of the set costs 15

Icecrown Rares - Catch-Up Gear, 34-Slot Bag, Accursed Keepsake
In addition to the Argent Conscript sets, Northrend bosses of the past return as rare mobs in Icecrown. These rares spawn every 20 minutes, on a set rotation, and a zone-wide announcement happens when those rares spawn. These rares can drop Scourgestones, as well as a chance of dropping item level 110 gear, serving as another means of catch-up gear for alts.
In addition to gear and scourgestones, some of these rares can drop unique items:
