Quests and Speculation on Kul Tiras Druids
09/03/2018 à 10:02
Players are hoping that if Kul Tiran humans become an Allied Race, they can be playable Druids. Here is an overview of some quests in Kul Tiras that appear to have potential Kul Tiras Druids as questgivers, as well as speculation on possible shapeshifting forms.
As the Horde are getting
, players speculate that Alliance could get Kul Tiras humans as an Allied Race in the future. Both sides would receive an Allied Race that resembles the core races in conflict as depicted on the Battle for Azeroth box art--Alliance vs Horde, Human vs Orc.
With all the Allied Race druids going to Horde so far, including the Zandalari Trolls with
cool dinosaur forms
, players are hoping that perhaps the Kul Tiras race will not only be Druids, but Druids with cool shapeshifting forms.
While nothing is confirmed as far as Allied Races, we found some human questgivers while playing through
that appear to have a strong connection to nature and there are several creepy woodland models that could serve as inspiration for shapeshifting forms.

Nature NPC Quests
are by the corrupted Crimson Forest and
is shapeshifted into a bear. They have a quest to kill the wolf Greenstalker.
Be wary mainlander. The mighty wolf Greenstalker, once a protector of these forests, has fallen under the sway of dark forces. My brother and I attempted to calm his spirit, but he is too far gone. He nearly killed my brother and I. He was still consumed by mindless rage even after we used a powerful charm. Using the charm weakened him but not enough. I ask you <class>, please, use the charm again. End his suffering. I must tend to my brother's wounds. Go now before the wolf consumes us all!
On the Teller Farm in Drustvar,
has a few quests to cleanse some forest corruption and rescue his apprentice. When you find
, she shapeshifts into a cat.
The magic which holds this man is the same magic which taints the land around us. The corruption seems to be early in form. I believe I can cleanse it. Take this branch, and bring it to the three shrines around the Ashenwood. That should allow it to gather enough energy for my spell.
The Ashenwood Grove has stood untouched by corruption for generations. But now, it has been overrun by parasitic fungi that came from the depths of the earth. In their infestation, they have found a few key relics that were nestled among the roots of the trees. They are some of few that remain of my kin's legacy. If you could bring me any you find, I would reward you.
My apprentice rushed off immediately upon seeing the infestation in the grove. No doubt that she believes she's strong enough to handle those fungi on her own. Which leaves me alone to clean up this mess. It's been some time since she ran off, could you look for her while you're in the Ashenwood?
In Tiragarde Sound,
runs an unethical lumber company--workers are unhappy, plus the forest seems to be attacking them. As you complete the series of side quests, you learn that
, his former wife, is behind the attacks.
Nearby you'll find
who has a few quests to restore the forest.
These loggers are destroying the forest, and harming the wildlife!
Beavers need this wood for their dams, but have had to resort to scrounging for scraps.
It's not safe for them anymore! Please, help me chase them back to the safety of the water.
Algerson destroys the forests and leaves nothing remaining! It is up to us to take care of Azeroth, to help her live and grow as she was meant to!
Take these seeds, find the soil that calls for them, and help our planet recapture her grace and vitality!
Drust Magic and Forms
At BlizzCon 2017, Character Artist Christopher Chang characterized the
magic and aesthetic of Kul Tiras
Kul Tiras has some new characters and the land itself is a very dark land. Witches have been using the ancient druidic magic called death magic. Because its a druidic type of magic, there are large treant wicker type creature that walk the land along with wicker beasts that are made of wood and bone.
You can see how this dark magic, the Drust, warps the inhabitants in our
Drustvar Questing Preview
. Perhaps the Kul Tiras druids are those who can use this magic positively.
Drustvar also has many Wicker-like creatures in the zone, and with the fanciful Zandalari Druid dinosaurs, perhaps some of these models could be incorporated into Kul Tiran druid forms.
