Hero Talents are an extension of the Talent system designed to explore class fantasy with a third talent tree, separate from your class and specialization. Blizzard has revealed an early preview of Hero Talents coming in the next expansion, The War Within.

Mograine - gives you a free (and moving) Mort et décomposition while he is active. Interesting in concept, though depending on if he inherits our Profanation or not, could lead to issues with accidental pulls. Profanation will grow each time it deals damage, leading to a potential 30-40 yard wide Profanation that pet AI controls. Even if Profanation isn't inherited, may still cause some issues with pet movement during the Death and Decay. Mograine's Might increases your damage while inside Mograine's Death and Decay, leading to a positional requirement on this talent.

Whitemane - Gives a Necrotic Plague like DoT, Undeath, that lasts 24 seconds from application and can not be extended. Stacks up (potentially infinitely?) when it deals damage itself, or with other diseases if Whitemane's Famine is talented.

Trollbane - Casts Chaînes de glace occasionally on your target, slowing them and increasing your damage by 5%. Trollbane's Icy Fury enhances this a bit by dealing AoE damage whenever you cast Frappe du Fléau or Griffes des ombres on an enemy with Trollbane's Chaînes de glace applied to them. Also appears to consume the Chaînes de glace debuff based on wording. May force us to think of what enemies we are targeting if we need the larger slow.

Nazgrim - Simple and sweet, increases your Strength by 5% while this Rider is active. Nazgrim's Conquest increases this by 3% if an enemy dies while Nazgrim is active, while also increasing it by a further 1% for every Rune you spend while Nazgrim is active.
