Lol this is fail, the horde take the echo isles in one attack yet the pathetic alliance cannot take back gnomeregan. This further proves how much better the horde is than alliance.
What lvl does a toon have to be to participate? My shaman is fine i know 80s for sure will be able to...but I wanted my old rogue to get it as well toons at 50ish
First off, Im excited. Knowing how its going down, I like it. They are moving ahead with Gnomeregon in a great way.I have a question. Does anyone here actually think that Gnomeregon would have been a good city? It would have been used less then the Exodar. Have you been in that instance? It sucks to navigate. That said, Superior position/strategy by the defenders does not imply idiocy by the attackers. And rebuilding the instance would be a lot more difficult then suggested. Changing up the trash, the bosses, the quests, the achievement, and the lore? As well as the necessary (albeit minor) layout changes to account for the damage and restructuring caused by the lava flows? The end result is building an entire new instance, not just swapping out trash. My first view on hearing about Gnomeregon was "how the hell are they going to make people want to use Gnomeregon. Now we know. Gnome will in fact stay in the starting area because they don't have to navigate Gnomeregon to get things done. If I was a gnome that had to navigate Gnomeregon for my starting quests I'd make a run back to the drawf starting area. And Gnomeregon isn't going to be a capital for that same reason, esp. with Ironforge so close.Siege warfare is hard to win. By having Thermaplugg maintain the siege, but have to bunker down inside the walls, Blizzard allows the gnomes to have a resounding success in the terms of siege warfare, without having to restructure an entire instance into the next Exodar.
I think it would work if gnomes get their city back and in exchange the trolls find there ORIGINAL home, if any1 here played w3. its about city size and could have been unsunken by the cataclysm, and the trolls still use echo isles as a starting zone. like there could be a portal to get to the island in sen'jin or the isles. seems to work out perfectly to me. plus who wouldnt like gnomer as a city? whirring elevators, zany contraptions, and just that gnomish feel. i run it on my 80 just for fun.
Once again the level 30 or so mobs have prevailed against the gnomes ;)
