I have 90s of every class, most dual-spec. So, the ability pruning is a major relief.I’d still like to see improvements made to macro management, though. In addition to the account-wide and player-specific tabs, t would be useful to have a class-specific tab. I have a couple of monk healers (different realms), for example, and have had to duplicate their macros, which can get out of sync as I make changes or make new ones.It would also be good to be able to view (and copy, edit) the macros for my other characters from any given character. That said, the ability pruning has meant I’ve been able to prune down my macros, too. So it’s definitely an improvement all around for me.
awesome stuff
CANT WAIT TO PLAY WITH ALL THESE NEW CHANGES! As a healer, these changes are exciting!
the lack of anything new about wow is really annoying.
I'm so glad the item squish happened, feels so much better than seeing massive health pools everywhere.
love how they are tweakingthe classes.
I preferred easier healing, but that's because I am a horrible healer. I am at heart a DPSer, specializing in making things dead. Not a good attribute for a healer. I miss some of the spells on my mage too, where they were moved into the other specs. Consistency seems to have trumped game play.
One item for both my specs, I think I'll actually tank now! Very cool addition!
Is it me, or the Live Blog is kinda interrupted after only a couple things about healing? I wanna hear more!
I'm a big supporter of the ability pruning, just way too many spells to that were highly situational and rarely used... and so far I've been liking the stat squish as well. I definitely feel like it isn't anywhere near as bursty and there is a lot more room for counter play and baiting abilities rather than just blowing quickly.
Bring back raise ghoul ><it WAS fun skill and allowed ppl off combat ress to do something xD
While I like the changes they have made, i would prefer they did a bit more with Rogues (or any other pure dps class). It feels like the advantage pure dps classes had is gone (and has been for a while) since every class can now dps (really well).
Really excited on how healing changes will turn out in raiding and the stat squish is really working out with me, though MoP healing was basically top people up without any strategy on who to heal and when to use a specific spell :D
I like most of the healing changes, but I feel there aren't any 'Oh Crap' abilities anymore.... As long as game play and other raid member abilities reflect this, I guess I can live with it.
loving this q+A session hopefully wont gimp my class
Im not sure if reducing number of spells actually makes the classes more 'fun'
Very very interesting points so far...
Yet they couldn't do anything about Mistweavers MasteryOkay, they did change it to heal closer, but still...
in some cases the pruning was to extreme taking away the fun of that certain spec.take the example of the survival hunter,no more cds to prepare for, just spaming 4 keys, can't see the fun in this type of playstyle.
