My guess is that those tokens will be purchasable with the same currency that'll be used to upgrade legendaries to item level 1000.
I dont understand how this wouldnt help new players by letting them choose what character they use the legendary on, if they only have one character they'd buy it for that character.
I doubt you will be able to use these to target a specific legendary. It looks like the standard armour token. You would get this item and send it to the relevant class. They click it and get a legendary for them. I doubt it is a currency you can use to buy a specific one you want but rather a token used to get a random one for the class listed on the token.
When you turn 110 - quest that rewards two items that turn into random legendries for your spec. Catch-up done, if others are needed get out and earn them. For those of us that only use them to increase item level how about making them worth something special if you sell or DE.Once the last raid has been released and completed by the top guilds allow us to equip all legendries until the end of the expansion.
I wish they could just remove them but i can't happen apparently , someone that starts fresh in legion , lvl's up an alt or return from a break can't really compete in any way with people that are active have every single legendary and farmed artifact power it is impossible so if you want that position in a good raiding team say goodbye to your dreams even if you farm 24h a day.
Yeah, it feels kind of pointless do do legendary content with your main who's got the best legendaries already. This would make you keep playing your main no matter what if you enjoy it the most.
So the big question is now-can the emissary caches you don't open until that patch can contain these?
Rudy199, we've already been there several times since WoD even. They always made sure that stocking up on caches was pointless. Also, don't see how this can be anything more than a fig leaf, since several classes simply need particular one or two legendaries to perform, period. They COULD just turn legendary effects into purchasable enchantments that you can stick onto any legendary-quality statstick you got, overwriting their current effect, but that would essentially gut the identity of those items, so it won't happen.
looks like buyable RNG, however if its bought with gold then the current legendary system is useless just buy as many as you have for your spec and bingo, got 'em.
I preferred the model that legendary items were something you worked for during the entire expansion and were truly an amazing feat to get. The new legendary model, taken pretty much directly from Diablo 3 is that they're required for your spec to feel "right". I guess I got too used to the old models where a legendary was something that took your DPS/healing/tanking above and beyond, these just feel like another piece of gear, albeit orange and with a totally random drop rate. Sorry, but there's nothing "legendary" about this gear, except for the orange text, which at this point is nothing special any more.
Now that´s something!
PLEASE! FOR THE LOVE OF RNGESUS, PLEASE! I have been raiding normal, heroic, and mythic since the start of the expansion, doing emissaries, M+, LFR's, etc., and I have all the !@#$ty Mistweaver legendaries (not including Crafted or Quest ones) except for Soul of the Grandmaster, Velen's Future Sight, and Prydaz. You know how much of a pain in the butt it is trying to keep up with a Priest, Shaman, and Paladin that have their BiS leggos and roughly same ilvl as me? We stomped M Harjatan last night, I was able to do 800k hps, and they were all 1mil+. :(
I dunno what is worse:- dont have a second legendary or- have a token to give you a RANDOM LEGENDARY FOR YOUR CLASS - thus giving you the chance to get a legendary for another spec.Seriously, the amount of RNG in this game is toxic.I have NEVER complained about legion RNG but damn blizz.. They're working hard to give me reasons to.Next step is prohibit you from choosing your class at creation character screen, giving you a neutral class to level up that will turn into a random class when you reach max level.
Does this mean we wont have to collect 50 essence for every legendary on every alt that we want to upgrade?
2 tiers too late, imo
If you've aquired all legendaries for your main spec, this could be a great way of getting offspec legendaries without having to change your loot spec and miss out on loot you actually need.
What is this? Diablo III?
