Honestly, none of these zones really grip me?I guess my problem with the setting of the next expansion is the same issue I had with Pandaria: we've known so little about them before their announcement, that I really have no investment in where we're going. Outland/Draenor, Northrend, Hyjal, Grim Batol and the Broken Isles were important locations from the Warcraft games where several important lore events occurred that immediately impacted the story. Cataclysm featured several unopened zones teased since Vanilla, like Uldum and the Elemental Planes, where we gained more details about them in bits and pieces leading up to their release. Until now, our knowledge and investment in Kul'tiras began and ended at "Jaina is from an island nation." Until now, we've known that Zandalar is the capital of troll civilization, and Deathwing ruined it offscreen in Cata. But those details didn't really present us with a lot of what to expect, which was basically a blank slate where the devs could fill in anything else they wanted.Or maybe I just find human and troll lore boring, I dunno.
Looks beautiful :D
Lot of Deja Vu with the troll zones, though the Kul Tiras looks interesting.
Pretty much looks like a big landmasses...as we have Vindicaar now, it may be hard to describe in further expansions how we could miss new territories...Wish if charachter have "Avast Admiral" it could walk in neitral or friendly pirate city..
Finally, we get rid of this monotonous demonic green Zones and see some beautiful landscapes.
I love the zandalar zones beautiful and vibrant.
I was originally thinking of going Alliance for this expansion because Kul Tiras seemed more aesthetically pleasing at first but... honestly, Zandalar is basically Dinotopia? Also can't wait to see all the new mount models!
The new pig models are SUPER adorable - please tell me we can tame them as pets? <3
Can't say which zone looks cooler. but if had to choose i think i'd choose Zandalar
Holy balls I'm so excited for this! Especially Kul Tiras. Since the first time I've heard about it, I have been looking forward to seeing it! FINALLY I WILL BE ABLE TO!
Alliance gets dark and mysterious forests with cool plant monsters and hags. Horde gets Australia full of furries and Vietnam. Doesn't seem to be fair.
I see some Stranger Things influence is some of this NPC creation.
Dang it, I just started maining Horde but Kul Tiras looks so awesome. :< Zandalar too, but I'd definitely want to go to Kul Tiras more so than Troll City 8.0...
I want the sethrak and Vulpera as playable races. D:
I really like these zones that resemble Inca / Mayan temples. (and pirates ... why not?)
Look beautiful
Please say there is a pirate parrot mount!
I do love me some troll lore and it pleases me a lot that we get a whole levelling zone with them. Hopefully the music will be on par with the one in WotLK (The loa area's in Zul'Drak) Let's also hope more epic dinosaurs are available to tame for hunters (with tiny versions for the pet collectors of course :D)
You really have to admit it: Blizzard is getting way better and better at designing zones! They look awesome!(But I hope the design will make up for the small continents compared to classic Azeroth...)Is there yet a date or release announced yet?
