It looks like Force Shield may have taken the place of Masquerade/Dispel Illusions, though, judging from the new UI. Looking into the PTR files doesn't really seem to give any indication what that ability does other than a speed reduction. I'd imagine it flavor-wise reflects the barrier that was placed over Suramar in player-ability form. Masquerade is relatively weak and just a flavor ability, but Dispel Illusions would be pretty handy if it theoretically worked on something like Stealth. To make up for Masq being really minor, Nightborne have 6 racials if you count both together, one more than the others.
Ugh... I really dislike the idea of the four Legion Allied Races as a pre-order bonus, for those of us who still buy it physically (primarily Collectors Edition owners). Basically means we cannot get our pre-order bonuses, because Blizzard does not provide "pre-order" codes for the store to provide the buyer, to attach to the account. It's a real raw deal, especially when we are buying the most expensive version of the release.Beyond that... guys, anyone who paid attention to the Blizzcon panels would know: Dark Iron is unlocked during the Alliance questing through Kul Tiras, and the Zandalari are unlocked during the Horde questing through Zandalar. They are questing experience content reward for what is to come in the Expansion. The Zandalari make entirely reasonable sense initially. The Dark Iron Dwarves are bit less clear, but that will likely be made clear as we get closer.
It'd suck if we'd have to wait until release to play these races. I'm still really hopeful that we'll get some of 'm pre-launch, to get them expansion-ready :)
sadly the highmountain race is guna make a target for hackers and bots for the mining speed.
I must say, I sympathize with those who still prefer to obtain a physical copy. WotLK was the last physical copy of a game I ever purchased. I reluctantly ordered a copy of Cataclysm, and have ordered digital copies ever since. I would so much more rather have a physical copy, but it's simply an inconvenience these days more than ever. There isn't much incentive for Blizzard and other companies to make it easier for people to obtain physical copies with the same benefits as the digital copies offer. They cost more money to make, and thwy stand to make more money from those who are collectors, and whom are willing to spend more money to have the same physical products that used to be the gold standard.I really adore my physical copies of Vanilla, TBC, and WotLK. I really wish I had the physical copies of the last 4 expansions, and soon to be 5. I've always thought in the back of my mind that if I'm ever wealthy enough I will buy physical copies on eBay to add to the eye candy on my bookshelf. But unfortunately that just hasn't happened yet. 1st world problems as they say.
I really hope that the these Allied races are available early. They aren't new classes. I want extra time to level them up so I can get the heritage armor.
there is a lot of work already done on allied races so it would be hard to imagine they won't.
I don't understand Dark Irons being related to Kul'tiras. There was nothing mentioned of mines on the island.. what, are the dark irons somehow impressed by our actions there?Or are they following us around as we do things becausewe have Azerite and they want it, and then decide to join us when we finish a section of Kul'tiras story?Don't get me wrong, dark irons as a dwarf related allied race(as "allied" race basically seems to me that they're linked to an existing one) is cool. Maybe it's just that they weren't done with the dark iron part of Kul'tiras at BlizzCon... But I feel like if we're questing through Kul'tiras, it would make more sense to me for us to discover that some of the friendly vykrul "parents" of humanity ended up on the island, and they join us(because the Kul'tirans themselves are still human, we can't exactly call them a new race). That would mirror how the zandalari are joining the Horde partly just because that's where the Horde is going this expac...
"Could you play Allied Races earlier than Battle for Azeroth release, with a preorder? Similar to Demon Hunters in Legion pre-patch."Duh. PreOrder BfA and get access to Not Zandalari and Not Dark Iron but these 4 races and have the whole "game will be released by X" like Legion had when you did the preordered it.
Why am I not seeing Masquerade and Dispel Illusions on Nightborne racials...
Calme surnaturel ... it's op in pvp?
I really love the discount on trasmog for void elves, gonna save me a lot of gold
im pretty sure that code will display both messages if you dont meet either requirement.
