I really enjoy these interviews. Thanks!I agree with the concern for the less hardcore raiding guilds in BFA. Many, many design choices by Blizzard are negating or devaluing the importance and rewards from raiding, and I think this is a serious case of shortsightedness on their part. From the removal of tier to the streak of terrible raid trinkets in Legion, plus the MUCH better effort-to-reward ratio that mythic+ dungeons offer, raiding -- and especially mythic raiding -- is really starting to feel like it's getting the short straw.Ignoring absurdly high mythic+ keys that people just do for fun (since rewards stop at 15), mythic raiding is the most challenging, most time consuming, and difficult (managing a consistent roster of 20+ people) activity in WoW. Just based on this alone, I don't t hink any other activity should offer rewards on par or better than this. It's not possible to get 960+ gear from Pet Battles, so neither should it be possible to get it from LFR or Normal raiding. This isn't elitism, it's just common sense. Blizzard needs to shut down the free all-you-can-eat gear buffet and go back to a clear reward structure based on content difficulty. But of course they won't do that since the Titanforging slot machine keeps their "player engagement hours" numbers higher.
I appreciate the Weekly Affix Advice. That really helps me figure out where to put my M+ effort for the week. Thank-you.
What is your take on the global cooldown debate in BFA? Also do you think we will see any other tanks in MDA other than DK's?
