Useful tips, great guide. I've dabbled and it can be super daunting getting it all going, let alone how to manage once you do. Keep up the good work.
I would say, you should use Streamlabs OBS instead of the original OBS.
Sadly I love playing with an Ultrawide but it makes for a terrible stream.
Interesting article. 2 years ago I started streaming. I tried OBS and it literally did not support GTX1080 cards. The streamed video was severely skewed and major skipped frames.I purchased xsplit and never looked back. It’s nice to hear they made some progress on that front since then. I have the stream board, it works nicely. I only stream to YouTube, Facebook, twitch, and mixer though.
One tip of advice for anyone striving to become a Streamer / YouTuber, don't worry about the people who have the numbers right now, Asmongold for example, if you put in the time and love what you do, you'll come out on top too. Just push towards what you love, and even if you don't get paid or have the number of viewers like Asmongold does, you'll feel happy, and that's worth 10x more than any amount of money you'll ever make. I'm a Fortnite YouTuber currently, I have 579 subs, and have had as much fun as Ninja does, and he makes millions to play. Why? Because I get to live the dream of chasing the ultimate goal of building a YouTube, from learning how to edit my own YouTube videos, to crafting awesome videos, to getting so much love, to losing subs to mistakes, to the grind. It all has been a blast, and I wouldn't change it for the world, money doesn't matter when you are happy!
