Basically blood dk will be just as op, just 5% nerf on a talent. And warrior is still going to be the worst tank by far sadly. I was also hoping for defensive buffs to vengeance dh :(
been nice to have a dps increase for blood DKs at least. its the worst
I may be misreading the new tooltip for bonestorm but the way it is written seems like the max healing for the entire ability is 15% of max health, not 15% per second as you have written here. Which would mean you never want to spend more than 50 rp on it. So DKs will only be immortal for 5 seconds instead of 10.Or, is it saying that the ability maxes out when used against 5 enemies and that a 6th wouldn't add another 3% heal per sec? I feel like the tooltip may need some work/editing for clarification. Also: hopefully this will finally be the end of DK tanks using stam food/flasks. Always makes me sad to see.
I wonder if the Devs play any of the toons they nerf, or do they just throw darts at a board to pick changes.
Why take Ignore pain off the GCD but not Ironfur....
Step in the right direction for Prot Warriors. However, the Rage issue still need to be addressed.
As a Druid I like the damage increase, that's something we're severely behind on compared to other tanks. What I do not like is Ursol's Vortex on the same tier as Wild Charge... what? Why is it on the same tier as our movement talents?Where it should be is on tier 4, which is our Crowd Control tier (Mighty Bash - Stun/Mass Entanglement - Root/Typhoon - Knockback), because Ursol's Vortex is much more CC than it is.. a movement helper? I get it holds mobs in place for a bit so we don't have to chase down fleeing mobs, but it's still much more CC than anything else at core.I'm also hoping Warriors get a bit more love. I don't think Monks are so much OP (from a numbers POV, not a skillcap one) as much as the other tanks just need reworks to be brought up to their level. Losing Artifact Abilities/Legiondaries has really crippled some tanks, and there was little to no effort to re-work the specs after their loss. And tossing in the GCD on tank CDs was a failure to add "depth" to tanking, it just became an artificial effort to make CD usage more thoughtful.
Bears still need help. We have almost no magic mitigation other than Barkskin which is on a long cooldown compared to other tanks' magic mitigation. Our threat and damage suck too and makes it hard for us to be invited to any significant runs.
We still heal a lot so DK changes not a big deal.
These changes seem to indicate Blizzard feels very minor tweaking will fix the tank balance issues. So, after all of this, not much will actually change.Play all the tanks a bit yourself and you can see some of the larger problems not being even looked into. gdruid's problem is that half their toolkit is unusable when you are tanking. Are you going to drop bear form to dispell a teammate in a dicey M+ pull? So you have many spells you can't use, while other tanks (prot pal, brew monk) can do their utility casts while risking nothing at all, while tanking, doing their job. And also, this is one of the factors that makes gdruid tanking incredibly boring compared to other tanks.Prot war's lack of healing is appalling when you compare to other tanks. Will this change substantially help? Doubt it. I mean would you trade ignore pain for boneshield? And that's not even discussing the rest of the DK toolkit's capabilities.
Honestly as a Prot Warrior I feel like Blizzard doesn't want me to continue playing, its painful at this point
I'm all for player choice until your selfish decision forces the other 4-39 people you're playing with to literally sit around and do nothing, in exchange for a tiny extra chance at group success. I'm not in a Mythic Raid, M10+, RBG, Arena, or attempting any world first, so all the showboating is an utter waste of time and general disregard for other humans' enjoyment. If spreading such misery is still important to you, then pay for all our subs or shut up.
