As much as I want her to be dead for good, I don't see that happening in this expansion. Not as the final boss at least. She's done things far worse than Garrosh, and seriously, no dumb story such as "she's gonna be the one leading us to our final war with the void!" will work. No way. I think she's gonna run away by the end of expansion - and take her most loyal puppets with her - and be the villain in the next expansion. But a raid boss? I don't know, personally I'd love Genn or at least Baine to be her doom. But with Xal'atah and who-knows-what-powers-else-she'll-get she might be too much to solo by either of them.
I REALLY dont think we'll fight N'zoth this expansion. I have feeling that Sylvanas is gonna do something crazy at the end of the Ashzara raid and she will be the final boss of BFA.
Sylvanas is NOT going to be a raid boos or killed off I say the same for Jaina theya lready did that in cata with end time.. do we really need to kill sexy lore characters off any more
How disappointing will it be if we defeat N'Zoth at the end of BfA? The final known Old God of Azeroth. Deserving of his own expansion entirely.
If we leave the sudo leaks and other non sense aside, there is one path this can go that satisfy lots of solid leads we had along the way.N'Zoth need US to free him, not Azshara. If N`Zoth needed Azshara to free him, she would already have, and if she could but she wouldnt, then N`Zoth still needed US to make her do it. Regardless, he needed US there get free, and for that reason he got us there.N'Zoth needed someone to prevent us from using the power to actually keep him imprisoned or to end his threat as we did with the others. We have an statement saying that "the weakest of them" was actually the one to win. That may fall in line to what the Puzzlebox has to say, and what Lovecraft Cthulhu Mythos go by as well.Azshara knows that she was played, and she is no queen, but just another pawn. Probably now she will be used to fight us again in a empowered form, as the champion of N'Zoth she actually is. That falls in line with the idea that N'Zoth will bring forth the next Xpac that herald the return of the Black Empire, which has been spoken of to exhaustion. From here on I speculate based on the Lovecraft Mythos and its similarities. Not much of a "founded speculation".It is the canon for the Cthulhu mythos that the old ones cannot be killed, just banished back to the "depths". And that they can there "eternally lie". However, to bring them back, the "easiest way" is to bring forth the weakest of them, by a simple ritual, and that one will then bring the more powerful ones back. That makes me think that we are to face a twisted Azshara while N'Zoth either brings the others back, or seal them out to rule the black empire alone. Either way, Azshara still to be dealt with, and in any case, she is the last boss of BfA.
