It’s good that there’s the chance they could always come back. Found it a bit ridiculous when people suggested they’re gone for good because we killed tiny manifestations of them. Many are probably tired of the old god theme by now (especially after 8.3 comes out) but I’ll always welcome an entire Black Empire expansion where all the Old Gods come back and are active at once.
i can see them setting up new characters to face once we defeat the old gods. i mean we sould still need to defeat the void lords. and whatever new threat from another planet or realm comes out way.
They will be never dead, blizz will pull them out in future anyway in some sort of revival.
Pretty sad that it's looking like we deal with N'zoth pretty handily next patch. Was expecting a fully unleashed Old God to put up more of a fight, what was he scheming about under the waves this whole time?
"That is not dead which can eternal lie"
I should re-read Chronicle before Shadowlands is released! At least the first one anyway... :-)
Such vague answers that don't really give a proper answer lmao
More old gods!
Hmmm, more old gods stuff.
So, they're dead; but they're not DEAD dead (points if you get that referance)
I allowed the AU time travel bull, if you start actually bringing back dead bosses, im done with blizz them. Lazy writing.
Death is not the end!
Have you played God of War 4? I will love a monster as the giant owl in the hell from that game, but on Shadowlands... A giant and mysterious shadow on the distance.
Wait, so regardless of origin or what type of creature you are there's a cycle from the physical plane to your spiritual origins and then back again? So this means:1. Demons -> Twisting Nether2. Old Gods -> The Void3. Physical Plane -> Shadow LandsRight, so if we go and "kill" the Jailor for example, will he then manifest in the pohysical plane, that being his corresponding "afterlife"? :D
