If you are using the parses shown in this article. Which is highlighted btw, then i dont see any reason to have changed the tiers and no mages hardly provide any major buffs aside from arcane intellect which is not a big deal considering bosses die so fast and im guessing the extra crit is super tiny. In addition most locks I can assume dont have the hit rating needed just yet? I could be wrong, same with hunters. They dont have the crossbow yet either which is the main dps increase for hunters.
So you are telling us that you are not using the parses shown in this article? :pDid my own research and took the top 10 locks and hunters. In the end they have they same score. At least for now.
Awesome job paying attention and editing out Affliction!Another consideration is that we use Curse of Shadow, Curse of Elements, and Either Curse of Weakness or Curse of Recklessness depending on the boss.
You couldn't have changed the wording to reflect just that? As it stands currently any reader who doesn't already know this would be left in the dark. Ideally, you'd want at least 3 warlocks to maintain the core curses.
Huh, looks pretty similar to a decade and a half ago. Why do people play Classic again and expect a different result? Spoiler alert, the next expansion will be Burning Crusade.
Are these numbers only on boss kills? If so, why? If I'm not mistaken, raids consist not only of bosses, but mobs that must also be killed in order to successfully complete the instance. A handful of mages make all the difference in places like BWL's suppression room. People are always focusing on who did the most damage in a particular boss encounter, but you'll often find a mage does the most total dps over the course of a raid due to their insane AOE toolkit.
