I'm happy for DesMephisto if speeding through content is the way he derives enjoyment from the game.Me, I'm a bit different. I enjoy reading the text blurbs, getting the back story. For me, there's no point to playing WoW and not knowing at least some of the story line. I want to know why it's so important why I should kill six crabs and put their shells in exploding geysers or why shinies make Great Ones happy. It always makes me nervous when watching cut scenes during LF-Raids. If I wasn't a decent dps player, I'm sure I'd be kicked more often for holding up the group. But if speed leveling makes you happy, then I won't complain...
Speed potions really help speed up leveling. I try to carry the cheap ones, Swiftness potions for getting in and out of caves as fast as possible, or to objectives inside where you can't mount.
I love leveling. I would like to level up longer. Buy game and in few hours we are at max level?
So I guess this is one of the reasons bugs and stuff make it all the way through Alpha to Retail. People with alpha keys are just doing crap like this or streaming, not actually doing alpha testing.
About what I expected. What a shame. They'd might as well just let you start at 50 or make the level cap 10.
Wow, if it only takes the average player 10 or 15 hours to level to 1-50 (a rate of 3 level per hour.................), why even bother playing the game. It's so meaningless when you achieve levels so quickly. This is going to feel just as unrewarding as live, despite being faster and less convoluted than live.Yet again, another wow expansion where nothing outside of PVE and PVP will feel meaningful or offer any sort of challenge.
Hey, slight error in your article. The two Heirloom rings are unique to each other and can't be stacked.
Those are different rings, one being from the WoD navel yard, and the other from the stranglethron fishing contest; they can be used together,
