these comments don't speak for us all, as a Sylvanas fan since Vanilla and still a fan even with all the rubbish storyline being written I for one would be ok with her sacrificing herself or at most being a jailer of the Jailer or something, like they lost me with the story cause I always thought since Cata she was trying to find a way for the Undead to get a afterlife when they die and not the Maw treatment, like i get it she burned the tree with people which sucks and boy did it suck, it's just I'm tired of seeing a faction I played for 15yrs n characters I enjoyed get @#$% on,like come on stop killing Horde leaders with this writing we already lost Garrosh,Nazgrim,Rastakhan,Kael'thas,Cairne,Saurfang,Voljin and maybe more that are dead and the alive ones we lost even though i dislike him we lost Gallywix,Nathanos,Sylvanas and thats the few i know right now, like I know Alliance lost Taylor,Benedictus,Maarad and Varian and maybe more, Tirion was neutral but hey at the end of the day all this is my opinion that I just needed to get off my chest, sorry for the long rant.
Well you see, we kinda expected burning legion in the legion expansion. Would it be Argus no - but we also don't know where the Jailer is or where we will fight him do we? Will it be in the maw? Could be explained in 9.3 or something.
Old Gods were apparent the entire way through BFA.
Originally they planned to have Grom Hellscream as the final boss for WoD, but they realized players were bored with yet another "Orcs are evil" expansion, so they changed to Archimonde/demons at the last minute. They were of course attempted to pave a smoother road to Legion.
Remember when Blizzard told us the final boss of WoD would be Grommash? Then we get the final patch and it was Archimonde? Then Grommash just got a bit part and got off with a slap on the wrist? I'll believe it's the Jailer when we get the final patch. If Sylvanas ends up a boss, she's really just repeating Garrosh's story with different paint. Blizzard said they weren't repeating that. There's a few ways it can go.1.) She'll become a boss and we kill her (Garrosh 2.0 regardless of anything else)2.) She'll become a boss but the fight ends prematurely for whatever reason resulting in her living3.) She helps us fight the Jailer and it comes out she was working with him to gain his power to help Azeroth against a much greater threat (since there's always something bigger around the corner)4.) Turns out this was all a test by the Jailer to see how strong your desire is to protect Azeroth and even the Jailer isn't defeated making it the first expansion we actually don't defeat the final boss. We end it with him being an ally instead and Sylvanas back on our side potentially as his speaker on Azeroth. She'd be in a similar position to Magni for Azeroth.Wouldn't be shocked to find out the big twist at the end is the Jailer's been hoarding souls to protect them from something else and to eventually use them in a fight against the Void Lords or something. Once that threat comes, he'd unleash them all to help in the fight making him not as evil as we thought. More have lived and died than are currently living. Wouldn't it make sense to employ the dead to help in an epic fight for not only Azeroth but also the universe? Might be a lead up to the end of the game since a fight like that would be hard to top.Big reason for Sylvanas to team up with the Jailer would be to bring her people back since her big issue is extinction. Her and Kael'thas had similar goals. Much of what they did was for their people. Rather interesting Sylvanas would care so much for what are mostly dead humans although we know high elves are among the Forsaken, but if the Jailer can promise Sylvanas that he'd return her dead (again) people to her, wouldn't it make sense for her to work with him? That'd be guaranteeing immortality for her people. Anduin might even fall into his hands if the Jailer let him have back Varian or even Tiffin. It'd be a hard decision for him at any rate. Anduin could say no, but Sylvanas wouldn't have since she'd lose too much if she did and we know she works for the Jailer already. But nothing ever comes without a price. Maybe Sylvanas's price for trying to save her people is her own enslavement to the Jailer. She can't say no to him. We still don't know when the Son of the Wolf comic is. Maybe Anduin pays a price for something in the Shadowlands and that price is his youth. To get it back he has to fight whatever he's heading toward at the end of the comic. It'd be a setup for the expansion after Shadowlands. But like Blizzard would do any of that. They'll take the obvious route. Sylvanas will end up the penultimate boss likely with Nathanos at her side and maybe some of her dark rangers as a boss just before her. Then the Jailer will be the final one. I very much doubt Sylvanas will go out like Kael'thas did as a mid-tier raid boss ... and then demoted to dungeon boss for the final patch.
"titan ++"?, as in stronger than the entities that created the universe? doesnt sound very believable
Final Boss eh... pulls out heart of azeroth
we fought Archimonde in WoD, not guldan
Well... real question is if Sylvanas will be boss or not?
WoW has jumped the shark.Goodbye, Blizzard.
inb4 the achievement for killing the Jailer is called "Jailbreak"
