I'm conflicted with the whole storyline involving Sylvanas. At first I was curious to see how this would play out, and what - if any - greater good the writers could come up with that could possibly redeem her. However, the "just you wait, it's going to be HUGE" has been leading us on for so long that I'm honestly tired of the story. This is really a disappointment on its own, because I absolutely adore her voice actor and the Blizzcon live acting of the cinematics were powerful to behold. The cinematics themselves were beautiful and enthralling -- I have to give the cinematics team really high marks for that, and I have told them so every Blizzcon I go to when I have a chance to stop by the interview area. That said... I don't want to see her redeemed anymore. I don't care if she ends up trying to play the savior card; the ends cannot possibly justify the means here. I will be really surprised if the writing team can salvage the interest of the portion of the player base that has become almost entirely apathetic to this piece of the story. I'll be even more surprised if they can pull that off while making the arc compelling enough to stop the pro/anti Sylvanas toxic flame wars.
