...yeah, no, this is a dumb change. Garrosh would never soften his words around Sylvanas of all people - not after she shut him down so hard on the Gilnean front
Looking forward to the World of Warcraft: Hello Kitty Adventure expansion
Garrosh was right.Hope people will meme Blizz to oblivion. Make no apologies either.
We have forgotten,..What has made us Strong...Sylvanas
I loved it because it was so memeable. But I'm fine with its removal. Curses have always felt very... Out of place in WoW. Except hell, which I would personally say isn't that much of a cuss anyways, but I'm not the one who decides that.
Wait- so you're telling me, the self insert of Nathanos guy, Steve Danuser, is the one who got this removed? Lmfao. The jokes just write themselves.
I thought this was an adult game?...What's the issue? This isn't supposed to be friendly chat, these are aggressive adults in times of war. This is stupid.
Blizzard: has the Horde commit genocide against the Night Elves, uses the tragedy of genocide victims being unable to bury their dead as fuel for "cool", "badass" moments for Nathanos, paints Tyrande the genocide victim as psychotic and as a hysterical woman for being upset about any of this; tacitly paints themselves as unsettlingly pro genocideBlizzard, a few months later: We need to censor the b-word, stat! We cannot have these impressionable children exposed to such immorality!
Shaking my head, Blizzard. Shaking my head. The in-game portrayal of genocide that involves the massacre of innocent civilians is A-OK, but a little word is too much, what a world we live in.
"Watch Your Clever Mouth" doesn't have any impact at all if he really desperately wants to remove the word "^&*!@" from the line he needs to replace it with something else at least.
Honestly... don’t care either way. The message is still conveyed.
honestly it felt very cringe hearing him say it cuz it feels like the devs are trying too hard to be more mature themed by simply sprinkling bad words around in stupid ways. felt very out of place. if bad words were more common since day one of the game, it wouldn't have felt so out of place to hear it this time and would have been fine.

Censorship sucks, period. Retroactive self-censorship is the worst imo, and sets a dangerous precedent. This may just be a game, and not that important, but the idea at the core is a very bad one. Just think about when this is done to books, historical accounts, etc...
Always funny seeing people who complain about triggered snowflakes being the only ones triggered and vocal about these kinds of changes. It's Blizzard's game, if you can't live without that word, move on to another one.
absolutely pathetic
Blizzard: Garrosh saying the bad word isn't allowed!Blizzard on class balancing: yall hear somethin?
Honestly, if it was directed to another other character during any other current xpac, nobody would/should care. But it's very, very concerning that a comment directed at a character criticized for having plot armor thicker than the average WoW player, (allegedly) lusted over by the main narrative director, 10 years ago in a zone only leveled in by 1 race, was removed by said narrative director.
