I find this change stupid because Sylvanas is just what he said and she knows it and lives it to this day. I'm a woman and this quest made me giddy, hearing it made me laugh because that's all Garrosh could do to Sylvanas, insult her and walk away like a little boy. This makes me not want to level in Silverpine again, which sucks because it was during the time I was proud to be a follower of Sylvanas. I'll stick with Kalimdor now it seems.
They should have just made it disappear or be replaced with @#$%& if you have language filter on, normal without.
The world is literally ending
I dont see the point in it honestly. whats the point?
They better remove hell now Greatsword of Frozen Hells, hellfire all must be changed
i joined in WOD, i remember hearing that questline and was surprised to hear it. However, it really drove the point across that she was a sneaky conniving person. It also showed that she was a pretty powerful woman. &*!@# isnt an insult, its more of a compliment. Shows that woman are powerful and can control others. Also it made me think this game wasn't for children and was more for adults. Especially with some of the older darker themes. Seems like Blizz is trying to make everything happy go lucky not so evil things happening and more for children than adults. I mean gameplay keeps getting easier and there is no challenge anymore! Im new and even i see how easy this game is Blizz, i literally tap buttons and my mind is off to my side screen thats how easy the game is. This is why everyone wanted classic. It didn't hold your hand or censor anything dark and disturbing and made it feel like an adult game. However, i love Sylvanas. I hope this means she isnt evil anymore >.>But really the words don't matter too much. But it didn't insult me either. I just feel like everything is changing to not "offend" people. People get offended so easily. Its like grow up. Get used to and get over it. Move on.
I don't see a problem with using a curse word (whatever it is) if its in character and the situation calls for it in the eyes of said character. In the cases pointed out, including the comics, it is for these characters. Them cursing doesn't make them lesser beings; it makes them more realistic. Trying to make everything fit "perceived social norms" is just pathetic especially as its been out there for so long. It seems like Blizzard trying to doctor their character's speech for the sake of not offending people during this time and not in a way that is meaningful at all. Does that mean we will get no more cursing in the books as well moving forward? If so I'll be sorely disappointed.
Are they going to change everything now? The game is MA-13. If enough people are upset about it, fine, change it. But I hope that you realize you're not doing this to please all the females in the game community. I'm a woman. I'm fine with it.

Rated E for everyone :)
This is World of WARCRAFT, not World of Softcraft. I always enjoyed seeing the word peppered in; since it is not used often in WoW, it made it all the more impactful and drew my attention to how important whatever was being said was.People/dragons have even been raped in the lore, but oh no, do not use this word.
I do think it does take a bit away from the scene. Both in just his mannerisms and just the fact it emphasis' his dislike for Sylvanas from my take on it. I expect the change was Blizzard trying to either be more family friendly and/or just appease a small vocal section of players. I mean the content has been in the game since Cata and I personally don't recall there being any sort of uproar about the usage of the word.I'm sort of in the vein if they say it on cable TV then feel free to use it.
Locking this thread, since most folks can't figure out how to act like civilized adults.
