We decided to start by talking to some of the other druids. Somebody must have seen something!
Have you seen any bunny murderers around the Dreamgrove?
I have heard about the murdered rabbits, but have seen nothing with my own eyes. Perhaps you should take wing and search from the skies?

There we were, no witnesses to the carnage of a murder in the Dreamgrove.
We decided to take Omnuron's advice and use our skills to search for clues.
I'm going to take wing and do an aerial search for any clues. You check down here!
This stick was no ordinary stick. It was broken in half and torn up on the edges. It had to be a clue!
Arthur... I'm pretty sure somebody just stepped on it.
Obviously somebody stepped on it, Thisalee. It was the perp!

I found a single pawprint, leading from a portal into the water...
Perhaps something from outside the Dreamgrove killed the bunnies!

At that moment, I heard Thisalee call out. She must have found a clue that only I, Azeroth's greatest detective, could investigate and understand!
No way Arthur, that was my clue fair and square. You were too busy pretending to talk to squirrels, while I did the work!
You couldn't have done it without me! I had to find you!

Through our incredible detective skills and our unending resilience, we finally tracked down and cornered the murderer.
It was time to avenge the bunnies.

WoW gets three major raid tiers an expansion with three new zones and countless mounts on a 6-8 month cycle. Everything in the WoW shop can be bought with gold.

So lets go thru the big F2P MMOs and compare:

1) ESO - Constant xmog additions to the cash shop as well as loot boxes. Patches are done on a season pass monetary model usually just including a few dungeons. Game is very much based around crafting and unless you dedicate hours a week to inventory management you are at serious disadvantage if you don't sub for the endless crafting bag. XP boosts on cash shop.

2) Guild Wars 2 - Constant additions xmog additions to the cash shop as well as loot boxes. Living story is free as long as you log in while they are active with a new zone, if you dont log in when its active you need to pay for it. Raids and dungeons are lucky if you get them once a year. Game is based around crafting gear sets and are extremely expensive that if you dont log in and grind mats daily you are buying gold.

3) SWOTR - The best xmogs in the game are locked behind the cash shop. Raids and dungeons are lucky if you get them every few years. Races locked behind a cash shop. Cooldowns on instance content unless you sub. XP boosts on cash shop.

4) FO76 - Best xmogs in the game locked behind cash shop. Player power in repairs locked behind cash shop.

FF14 which is sub based has massive xmog sets in the cash shop, mounts and player boosts. Raids and new zones no where near the polish and difficulty that WoW has.

The industry of gaming has changed, and while blizzard has their issues (pay your employees more blizzard come on.) they are not even remotely the worst offender for the cash shop. Again you get the set for free if you already pay for the 6 month sub, and for the price of 2 tokens you can buy the mounts or xmogs using gold (roughly 300k gold which is not much). Heck when overwatch 2 comes out you can buy it with WoW gold! This is not a sky is falling situation despite what popular streamers might say.Commentaire de MikeeB

They were just saying that, in comparison to all the other big MMOs out there, WoW gets a lot of impactful content with a base subscription fee that other MMOs dont.

I personally love it. If you're playing the game anyway, why don't you already have a 6-month sub? You automatically get all the goodies with it, like the Dreadwake mount and this fun Sprite set.
