Nice. Can you make same for PVP Arena?
So blizz, can we delete Retribution?Just give the 2 sword block and put him as a tank too, better do that than try dps.
Digging deeper into the SPECs data, you will find that all "pure" DPS classes have one (almost) "DEAD SPEC":
these mages and hunters curves say to us that blizzard never learn
Good to see my prefered classes at the bottom -> Shaman > Monk > Paladin.Although I have to say I used to like Hunters. I know, disgusting meta clown. But yeah to be fair, you can see how much worse the hunter design got with how it drops hard in popularity the last two expansions. So that follows my logic at least. Mage always kinda decent, but always a bit soulless imo.
Hopefully Blizzard takes a hard long look at this. Theres a reason monks are misrepresented, they are either very powerful or really really really bad. Theyve been pretty terrible minus a month here and month there, and they are the first ones that they decide to nerf (BrM brews-hp - too many to list, Mist Rising Sun Kick-orbs-etc, WW brew eliminated -etc). Lets take the Rising Sun Kick, reason it was removed from what can remember is it put 100% uptime on mist, i mean look at druids - 100% uptime on hots...to me they should have left it alone as mistweavers were the fistweaving spec and Blizzard all but took that away from them and decided to give the melee weaving to pallys and druids. BrM cant have anything cool, lets take 100|% of the absorb and give it to..druids as a legendary.... I understand Stagger is very good, but dont take away the healing orbs, dont take away the fun to give it to another class - which already has great utility and power.
unholy DK's REPRESENT! /cheers
Making a suggestion:
I'm... confused by some of the arcane mage comments here. As someone who has played/theorycrafted a mage for years/decades, arcane has performed well at various times in various expansions- including (certain intervals within the) the years mentioned here. I think a lot of people don't know how to play that spec correctly, but it has never been in the same state as (for example) survival hunters. I would argue that it has been somewhat similar to the cycle that frost goes through, just at different intervals. That said, I do agree with most of what was said about fire.I love the theme of arcane and always have, so I hope they don't consider changing it. I do, however, hate how there always seems to be a 'dead' spec for all of the DPS classes. It feels like a waste to have many specs underperform for reasons unknown (I guess it is just too hard to balance them all, but /sigh). It is even worse when that applies to hybrids (like monks, mentioned here) because that forces those players to feel like the entire character is abandoned. They acted like the reconfiguration in Legion was supposed to address this, but years later the problem still exists. I don't have a solution, but I really wish they did.
