I like the in depth insights on this article, interesting read and helps understand the situation better but I feel like regardless what the numbers (raw output) of a specific spec is, the meta has been the same for many many many years - holy paladin, disc priest, resto shaman, so the predictions can just be copy-pasted the same for every tier :D
i see.. my main is still trash
Note; Holy priest guide link goes to Feral druid guide instead.

holy priest is the worst of the pack? What a surprise! It has been like that for only 7 expansions in a row
Ah, nothing a good Rejuvenation wont fix
Being a Healer Priest is such an awkward position atm.Holy is underperforming, but Disc straight up sucks unless your in a Raid or Mythic+ group that is literally designed around you (in which case it's OP).So many Priest healers are going to end up expected to play Disc, but then the people who expect them to play Disc won't be willing to change how they do things to actually make it work.
Once again Holy Priest get shafted. My main spec since vanilla, a major staple of the healer classes, gone to crap again. What does Blizzard's Devs have against holy priest?
I'm really curious if Blizz actually has a dedicated designer for holy priest and mistweaver. If they do, they should think about their HR system.
The Holy Priest hyperlink goes to Feral Druid Guide... probably a more viable healer than Holy regardless.
Also, playing disc isn't really fun. SS is super powerful in raids, but they can't really do much outside SS because of mana issue. In M+, disc also ends up spamming smend all day long. It's just not fun design.
I really dislike raid disc right now. I know it's overused and lost most of the meaning, but I can't really call it anything but braindead. You just play around a single OP cooldown every 60 seconds, and try and conserve mana rest of the time. It's super effective and easy, but in no way is it fun to play.
Poor Mistweaver. Such a shame they haven't been in the game since 2004 so they could be grandfathered in a ton of overpowered or unique utility like Rsham or Rdruid.
In all honesty: I think you are hurting the game with these articles and make it more toxic. Many players just look at the graphs or the summary and accept that as the truth. There are no second places in meta picks for the majority of players.A friend of mine plays an extremely good 1400 RIO resto Druid and has trouble being invited to +15s. WHAT THE F*CK? Just because Druid is not #1 in the meta. He did the second highest HPS on our Sun King firstkill. He will taunt away mobs from the tank during necrotic while still topping the group in a boss fight. You will time anything with this guy in your group. While I like statistics and analysis (a lot), most people can't even read or interpret statistics properly. These articles will be misinterpreted and hammer in the meta even more. And to all of you who say "get some friends": eff you guys. That is just not the reality. We all look into m+ pugs from time to time, even those with multiple mythic bosses down, playing in guilds with lots of m+ going on, and even those of us who have their premade dungeon teams.
