To summon Ironaya, you need to obtain the Gni'kiv Medallion (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=7740) from Baelog's Chest and The Shaft of Tsol (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=7741), which drops from from Revelosh. Combine the two and place the combined rod in the keystone inside the miniature city model you'll find right after Revelosh.

Ironaya is the standard "tank and spank" fight.

Ironaya is the first boss mob you encounter in the Uldaman Mine Instance, NE corner of the Badlands.

She is a 20-foot tall lady - lots of fun to fight.

Took her out with 45mage, 44mage, 44pally, 43priest. She was a pushover. Don't let the level scare you. Just let the tank build lots of agro then burn her. She droped a blue staff, like 31dps and 20stamina. I don't see it on her loot table though.

42 warlock, 46 warrior, 42 shaman took her down... lot's of fun getting kicked in the middle of a good foom spell. Decent item drop, they were cloth britches that our warrior "accidentally" rolled on. I will not soon let him forget that!

level 49 warrior-myself, and level 41 Druid took her out! Was a blast to do it :D

Agreed by many, Ironaya is about the easiest boss to kill in the Instance..for that matter, the easiest boss to kill in any instance! She does drop some very sweet Mail Bracers, the Armor rating ans stat bonuses for the bracers aren't surpassed by any others for several levels.AT level 52 now, I go back with others to help out, and have taken my pick of the Bracer sets, until I found the one I liked the best.

Piece of cake though, have never seen someone die from the battle with her....yet?

In my opinion, I vastly prefer the Crushridge Bindings - my paladin is using them now at lvl 45 (still ... got them at l40), as they give you 11 stam already, and you can give them a notch with another +7 stam enchant =) .... but Ironaya REALLY is fun to fight, MUCH unless her companion in size, Archaedas (gah ! wiped on him today ... he had ONE ! % health left, and THEN the doors were buggy and we were unable to finish him off <.<)

She's really a pushover. I easily soloed her last night as a 54 paladin.

Hey champ - no you don't need any quest - the staff is made up of components you will find inside the instance.

The head of the staff you need will be with the lost vikings (in a box on a table) and the staff will drop from one of the mobs near the map room.

Pick em up - combine the two and WALLAH! Stick the staff in the hole, watch the light show and here comes the big iron ^&*!@.

Stab her hard and be done with her. Her drops are pretty ordinary but I must say the satisfaction you get from killing a big iron *!@#$ is priceless.

Respect to the bluefish mofo.

Killed her with ease lvl 38 druid lvl 38 rogue and lvl 41 hunter everyone survived no problems. She is slow and as long as the healer stays at a distance (she stomps a lot) no issues at all. It looked like it was going to be a good fight I was worried but she dropped quickly.

sirst time i encountered her wa with me and a friend checking out uldaman for a while cause we never been there we went in the instance as lvl 44 hunter and 45 pala (me) grabbed the stuff to summon her first time she got out scared us to sh*t but we fought her and won easiest boss fight i ever done.

ps: the other boss in there the dark iron one it is i think was downed by us when we were both 49 was a bit tougher fight but much more fun :P

Took her down last night for the first time with a 44 mage, 42 warrior, 41 hunter (me), 43 priest, and 39 hunter. Really easy and fast. She is pretty scary when she comes out the door, but don't worry... Dropped Ironaya's Bracers of Agility and I got them!

Ironya rocks because to open up her chamber there's a little Indiana Jones reference.

It's fun to use the Shrink Ray on her and see this giant just become this midget for the rest of the fight. She doesn't look very intimidating when she's below your waist.

Soloed her as a 54 Combat/Prep specced rogue (9/21/21). No potions used. Good gear though, full blues and bloodrazor as main. Put in key doobery, wait till she pops, ambush, than fight her in the room she poped from. Watch out for her knockback though. Can be disarmed.

My 45 lock and a 35 hunter took her out no problem. We sent our pets and used long ranged attacks. GL

Going to try to solo with a lvl 42 tank specc'd druid.. i have some nice gear but its gunna be hard

managed to solo this guy with a lvl 42 tank spec druid, took a while to clear the place, and the dwarfs that guard the amulet were kind of a pain, but the giant was alot easier than I thought she would be.. didnt need to use any potions, just healed myself and used frenzy

okay idiots !

first of all 500 is just a stupid number and is only used to calsify that it is a boss...
like ragneros..he isnt really level one or 500 ! hes just a "skull" level.

and second of all this guy cant be soloed... and u cant farm him because his respawn take a long fukin time!
and a level 46 druid with 5760 hp? are u playing on a fukin private server?

i killed her at lvl 46 with my warrior 4 priests,2 paladins, 4 mages :P and 3 warlocks , my raid group werent to happy with the drops xD

that staff though is alright... but in the end fight him if ur preists or mages want to xD

just killed her tonight, not that hard of a fight. levels 40-45 in the group. dropped the leggings, we now have one very happy priest. :)
pally and i were hoping for bracers but oh well

i just soloed her on my lvl 46 druid i got 5769 hp buffed with fort/motw and had to stun her and heal full about 4 times. it was kind of hard but i got her farm status now =p been farming for her staff she drops, killed her 7 times solo now.

At lvl 36 me and a 41 paly, 39 warrior, 40 hunter and a 40 druid took down this boss in less then 2 minutes. We didnt even need a strategi she chased 1 guy around the room wile me the other druid and the hunter shot her, it was too easy =)

finished this one as a 47 orc hunter with a 42 undead priest buddy. first try and she drops bracers of power. wewt!

Hey There,

A 41 priest and myself(41 Druid) just beat her. Was a shock when she came bumblin out and at first the priest died and I got her to 1% hp when i dropped. Second time when we went back i just had priest run around the edges of the room when she bashed me back used feral charge then taunt. No deaths and we still had mana ( after one pot ) at the end of the fight. was great fun!

42 rogue, 42 pal, 40 pal, 44 mage, 40 war killed her quite easily.

She bounced everyone back, stunning us, and then went to attack the mage. Though we killed her shortly after. All in all a fun bossfight, with a decent drop (stoneweave leggings). I just don't understand why Blizzard made her a "500+" boss mob.

went there with a grp of lvls 35-40 a few days ago took her out with out any problem. classes were 40 warlock, 35 priest, 40 hunter, 39 rog, 39 warrior

Ironaya can be easily downed by a season 60 hunter.

The items she drops usually disenchant into large glowing shards, so shes a great monster to kill to get enchanting reagents.

She goes down pretty easily to a low 40's group - real level can't be much more than 45+ if that.

The only special attack she has is some kind of "bounce" attack where she will fling everybody up close to her back about 15 meters and they will take a bit of fall damage.

40 warlock, 42 warlock, and a 41 warrior. We killed her. Was the most fun fight I'd ever been in. It went right down to the wire but we got her. Good strategy can take down any mob.

I can't get the staff parts to drop. I keep leaving and restarting the instance over. Revlosh doesn't drop the staff and Baelog's chest has some trash in it.
