Anyone know where this drops in SoD? I haven't seen a single one and I've killed like 10 dark irons in north wetlands, and a few in Loch Modan!

Is there anything I need to do to get it to drop?

EDIT 12/4/23: These DO drop in Dun Modr in Loch Modan, but with a somewhat low drop rate! Get a group of 5 with about an hour or two to kill and farm them out!

I've killed ~40 dark iron dwarves in Dun Modr at the north of wetlands and got 1...

kinda sucks they made all the drops for these quests a pain in the A for horde..

I assume that Blizzard meant to call these Dark Iron Ordnance? At first, I thought people were misspelling it in chat. Then I realised that both the quest and the item are misspelled in-game. Odd.

Some interesting things about these items.

They are NOT bind on pickup - they can be traded or sold on the AH
You do NOT need any quest for these to drop.
These CAN drop while in a raid.
These are ALSO PERSONAL LOOT! The item can drop for multiple people from the same mob in your party or raid.

That means get into a raid if you want to farm these effectively.

I was concerned that this item would be unobtainable after the turn-in like with the shredder turbochargers, but I can confirm they are still able to be collected after doing the turn in.

1. Travel to 62.1, 39.1 in Ratchet

2. Speak to Grizzbi and select the dialogue option

3. Obtain 24 Huile de poisson, 20 Munition de Sombrefer & 16 Turbochargeur de déchiqueteur:

Huile de poisson:
Can be farmed around 54.4, 61.3 in Contreforts d'Hillsbrad from Nagas

Munition de Sombrefer:
Can be farmed around 60.1, 52.1 in Les Paluns (Wetlands) from Dark Iron Dwarfs

Turbochargeur de déchiqueteur:
It will require you to either craft from Engineering or buy off Action House the Unité d’autorecyclage de déchiqueteur.
Each unit is 1-time use only and has around 60% to provide a Turbochargeur de déchiqueteur so you will need around 25 of them.
Travel to 66.5, 49.4 in Les Serres-Rocheuses (Stonetalon Mts), destroy Shredders in the area, and use Unité d’autorecyclage de déchiqueteur on them to obtain Turbochargeur de déchiqueteur.

Alternatively, you can buy all 3 quest items directly from the Auction House.

4. With all materials travel back to 62.1, 39.1 in Ratchet

5. Turn all materials to Grizzbi and pick up the follow-up quest

6. Travel to 76, 33 in Orgrimmar to Zel'mak or 79, 46 in Cité de Stormwind to Maître Wood

7. Complete quest & pick up the following one

8. Return to 62.1, 39.1 in Ratchet

9. Complete the quest and talk to Grizzbi to open a vendor

10. Buy & Learn the Rune du Loup solitaire
