The only requirement being that you can get pass Twin Emperors and bring the required material.

Unfortunately, for paladin, nothing resembles useful item. The axe is arguably the only useable item (now that Blizzard have nerfed our tanking ability to hell and beyond). We can't use dagger or gun so those are out of the question.

I was told that the quest rewards from this quest must be turned back in after the Twin Emperors in order to progress to C'Thun; can anyone confirm or deny this?

ya these armaments dropped off the bug family in AQ40 ( aka : lord kri , princess yauj and vem ).

Initially i was saving my points for the shield that drops off chromaggus since that one is an awsome shield and looks pretty cool too. But the shield that can be gotten from doing the turn in of this "quest item" is wayyyy better then the elementium reinforced bulwark.

After bidding every single point i had in bank for this armament i was surprised that i won it.
I am defenetly gonna look forward in getting this shield since its the best shield in the game technicly. I say technicly cause although naxx is out and way better shields are at grabs i dont think anyone will be getting those new shields for a very very long time.

This shield is the better then the chromaggus shield but not by too much.

Don't give this to paladin with DKP, and watch paladin player leave guild (sooner or later). Then, recruit a new paladin and watch the effort of having to gear them to AQ40 level.

Then, in retrospect, consider how much cost it is to guild progress to gear new players vs. keeping existing players happy.

Now you know why anyone with DKP can get anything they want. It is useful to have people who respect guild progress (e.g., give first drop to tank or hunter or ...), but its not a guarantee, sorry.

Never disrespect fellow guildies based on classes they chose and gear they like. Its a game, afterall.

the gun is useless though, huhuran's sting is waaaay better :P
