This cannot be used in combat as vanish is able to. It has a ten minute cooldown I think. And you are able to run at full speed while invisible (unlike stealth). Watch out for the warlock's who have their detect invisibility on.

It's sort of like the engi trinket, its good for bombing people.. thats it. It's able to be picked up with detect invis, and right when you attack/heal you are brought out of stealth.

This potion when used in conjunction with the Mage ability Invisibility, can extend the length of the time you remain invisible to up to ~35 seconds.

Simply drink the potion when you have ~1-2 seconds remaining on Invisibility, and you'll be seamlessly transfered into 15 seconds of "Lesser Invisibility".

Also note that while you are invincible as an effect of this potion, you will NOT be able to see mobs. So if you're running past a pack in an instance, or a group of mobs in the outdoor world, you won't see if there are any mobs (and in that case; where they are) standing further in behind the first pack. My advice: plan carefully if you're making a stealth run for anything using this potion.

At this point (just after 2.3 release), this item seems to share its 10 minute cooldown with the mage's mana gems. Doesn't make sense to me, might be a bug.

I thought this was just for fun without much practical usage until I got to Outland. With the two invisibility potions that happened to be in my pack, I fear bombed two 70s to get out of combat and then got away using this potion. A stack of 5 sells for more than 6g on my server so I am currently farming the herbs to make more ;)

If you have the tenacity to gather enough of them, can really help in Zul'Aman on a timed event run. Very helpful for skipping packs inside the instance; however requires good coordination!!

Good for Halaa if your corpse is getting camped. Rez, drink pot, run a few feet and mount. You can mount without breaking effect. As soon as you are mounted and move, effect will break.

Funny story i was playing as my mage who is a alcamist in STV on a PVP server my mage is lvl 36. Out of now where i get into a fight with a 36 druid we fight for a bit but then i run out of mana. I start to run blinking away. Im about to die and i frost nova him with the remander of my mana and as soon as i got out of combat drank this pot and ran and hid behind a tree and ate and drank while watching him looking for me having no idea where i went.

Tested today - cooldown still gets 10 minutes for potions...
Although there is no mentioning of that in the tooltip (as it looks like above here now)!
Doesn't Blizzard have some new guys learning the ropes, who could collect a list of all these small misses & typos, eh? And fix them!

Mounting breaks the invisibility (I didn't move, just mount) at the end of the mount casting time.
Does not affect mana gem CD, but using a mana gem breaks it.

I figured out an awesome strategy for winning in the gurabashi arena as a demonology warlock using these (assuming there aren't any really high levels around). What you do is find a nice spot for your voidwalker to hide, have him stay put wherever this spot may be. Then hide yourself in the bleachers before the event starts. When the chest drops, drink your invisibility potion, run to the center, sacrifice your voidwalker for the shield, drop fel domination, summon another void, and start opening the chest. If you're lucky, it will take a few seconds for people to notice you because they didn't see you on your way to the chest. Your shield will allow you to continue opening the chest even while being attacked, and when it gets low, you can sacrifice your second void, which will not interrupt your opening of the chest because the sacrifice ability is cast by the voidwalker, not you.

It has been a while since I have tried this, but it worked most of the time unless there happened to be a shaman who actually used purge or something. It's funny, most people seem to forget about those spells.

as a Ne druid you can do shadowmeld to this potion then cat and stealth and blizz hasn't fixed the 10 min CD on all pots after useing this.

As a NE you can shadowmeld, drink pot, and hearth as the effect will not be broken until the actual hearthing takes place. As a mage, you can invis to drop combat, drink a pot, and hearth as well.

This will leave people looking for you for quite some time :)
If only you could somehow watch them look for you.

if you activate this, and then use an "escape" skill or item (by escape I mean heartstone, or the DK's deathgate, or the druids moonglade teleport, or a mage's teleport to any town, or a shaman's astral recall) is the invisible effect broken?

if the answer is no, then this is an exelent item to use when being chased by an enemy, use pot, use escape item/skill.

That means mages can combust pyroblast from invis. ;)

you CANT use it in combat - first hand exp

but you can start fight while invisible :) with some slow and powerfull cast like SoulFire/Pyroblast...

the casting doesnot break invisibility - only when you finish the cast :)

Invisible is different from stealth. YOu can run at full speed and the enemy can't detect you if you get close. =) However, "Detect Lesser Invisibility", A warlock spell, will detect this so be careful ;)

As of the patch, this potion has lost nearly all its use. it now acts much like the mage's invisibility, so once the potion is used, you'll lose total sight of your target.

This should only be used in pvp, or for pretending to your friends that you have an invisiblity spell. If some guy is spawn camping u, rez somewhere far away and pop this, he will not see u leave, plus you can move faster than a rogues stealth, so it is still worth considering as a rogue.

The only person u can be seen by is a warlock with the detect invisibility spell. Other than that, even if the other person is 45 lvls higher than you, he wont see u

if you are a mage cast invisibility and at the end of invisibility while 1-2secs remaining drink this so 20 from invisibility spell and 15 from this and if we remove the 2 secs you will be invisible for 33secs. there is a 18sec invisibility potion but its expensive for 3 secs i think...

the cool thing about professions in WOW is that you can (sorta) make up for skill your class dosent have such as lnvisibility potion giving you a rogues stelth for 15 or frist aid which can heal you such as a HOT would. but of course these can not mach the classes ablity to do these things.

It is no longer of any use seeing that you are unable to see anyone while invisible exept for people who can see you as well.

of all the potions in the game, this is one that will be used forever, if u have the mats for it anyway. No matter what the lvl people can't see you with this on...except locks(LOCKS RULE) Anyway semi easy mats execpt for the steel bloom which be kinda hard to get sometimes. The invisiblity potion(not this one the next one) cost way more to make, using ghost mushroom, the most expensive rare pre bc herb, and really now all it does is have 2 more sec. lesser invis and invis are basicly the same now.

Use this potion:

1. To get past guards in instances or really annoyingly hard pve areas - like those which have groups of 3 guys really close to 2 other groups of 3. This will let you just run past all of them.

1. Someone ganked you and is camping you: rez and use far away and run then get to some cover to hearth or mount up or heal up to gank him or something. Really fun if they see you do it since they might be super confused since only mages can go invis and thats around late 60s. "what did that 34 do? where did he go?" says the 65.

3.Invisganking - pretty self explanatory, just remember that when u start the casting u go uninvisible. Also, and this is important, invisible people can only see other invisible players and invisible mobs, or people able to see invisible people - like locks, so u might not be able to start that pyroblast on that warrior from invisibility until u go out of it and find him. Also remember your surroundings otherwise u might walk right into 6 guys when u go out of it.

4. Ninja capping - u can go in and ninja a flag or base in a bg.

5.THe look- going invisible is like nothing else in the game and 3x as trippy as when u are dead. Definatly worth taking a look at.

What about the Hunter aspect "See Hidden"? Will that detect someone who has imbibed a Lesser Invisibility potion? As a Hunter with See Hidden up I can see stealthed Rogues and other invisible peeps, I assume just like a Warlock's See Invisible.

I recently tried one of these in a duel with a 70 on my level 40 priest just to test it out, even at 1 yard in front of him he could not see me even with perception...

To get Chouette chronomètre, you need to complete:

Un gyro... quoi ? requires Gyrochronatome.
La tête froide l'emporte toujours requires Huile glaciale.
Étude des éléments : la roche by killing Elémentaire de roche inférieur for Petit éclat de pierre.
Étude des éléments : la roche by killing Elémentaire de roche for Grand bloc de pierre.
Étude des éléments : la roche by killing Elémentaire de roche supérieur for Brassards de liaison de pierre.
This unlocks Grandes difficultés which leads to Grandes difficultés which awards Chouette chronomètre.

Keep in mind, the quest items drop off of specific mobs, so don't kill the other ones when you're doing each quest.

You can complete the other optional item turn in quests for Lucien Torsaclef, but this is not necessary to complete the chain:

Pierre liquide requires Potion de soins and Potion d'invisibilité inférieure.
Mieux est la pierre que le tissu requires Brassards guillochés en bronze.

You do not remain invisible if you try to collect a quest item. You will become visible as soon as you try (regardless of the time remaining on the potion).
